T

he South-East Queensland region will host the first Deadly Chicks’ Exclusive Event on Thursday, 7th of November 2013 being held at the Beenleigh Events Centre, proudly brought to you by the Australian Indigenous Deadly Entrepreneurs’ & Leaders’ Events. This is our national community of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander brothers and sisters in business and organisations across the country. Deadly Chicks’ aim is to showcase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to celebrate their successes, learn from each other and acknowledge strong Elders who have lead the way. With the official opening of Deadly Chicks’ and the overall Australian Indigenous Deadly Entrepreneurs & Leaders Events done and dusted which was held on Friday, 8th of February 2013 from 6pm to 11pm at the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre in South Bank. We are excited about proceeding forward, running exclusive events across the country. We shared the official celebrations with up to 300 special guests from local community across Brisbane, Sydney and regional areas representing businesses, parent / women groups and organisations as they were entertained by a great showcase of Deadly Stories of local women who are unsung heroes. “Deadly Chicks’ is designed to showcase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women entrepreneurs and leaders across the country. with a wider community we open the doors for stronger partnerships between non-indigenous women groups, networks, government and the business sectors to work collaboratively and bring to the forefront great initiatives by working together”, said Ms De Busch, the founder of Deadly Chicks. Join us for breakfast and official proceedings from 8.00am to 11.00am. Tickets are available now for $80.00 per person | 12.00pm to 1.30pm $100 workshop sessions
