We would like to welcome everyone to our 3rd anuual bull
sale. With COVID throwing a stick in our wheel 5 days before the sale last year, we were forced to move the sale to the farm, even though we don’t have a building to host the event in. However we found it to be a blessing in disguise, the atmosphere was more personable and relaxing with great weather. So this year we decided to stay with the same format and hope mother nature cooperates. This set of bulls are fed very similar to the bulls last year, keeping longevity in mind. Raising a herd of commercial cattle myself I understand that it is uneconomical to replace your breeding bulls every year. So with keeping the commercial cattle men in mind we are exchanging excess pounds for longevity. We have on offer a very versatile set of bulls this year, there’s a bull on offer for everyones needs. From heifer bulls to performance bulls, and a couple 2 year olds. We would be happy to discuss and help you out in choosing your new herd sire with whatever your requirements may be. Last years sale was a huge success inspite of all the restrictions. We would like to personally thank all the buyers last year that supported our sale. By far this black baldy is the youngest bull in the sale. A calf that we should have really held back for a two year old but with his low birth weight, high calving ease and ample performance we would find it a shame not to see him out doing his job as a yearling. Use him in the heifer pen or on a group of cows and he should make your calving season a “Holiday” and should still leave some pounds on your calves in the fall.

This is probably my favorite black bull in the pen. A loose hided soggy fella that was born in the end of February and is pushing to be the heaviest black bull by sale day. His maternal brother was our highest selling red bull last year to Gary Miskew. With a Dam that can do this two years in a row I would like to see what a pen of heifers out of this guy could do.

This all coming to you from a second calver that we had the misfortune of loosing last year. Her first calf was our high selling black yearling bull to Greg Whelen in our sale last year. Our Fullblood herd only consists of a half dozen cows but with off spring of this type of quality I could be convinced to increase the numbers. DELIVERY/FEEDING No bulls will be loaded out sale day. All bulls within 300km will be delivered before the first of May free of charge. Delivery will be made at sellers convenience and plenty of notice will be given to the buyer. Any bull not accepted by the first of May will remain on the sellers farm until picked up by the buyer with a cost of $5/day. INSURANCE Insurance will be available sale day and encouraged. Seller will assume no responsibility for any injury or loss of bull after sale. VIEWING OF BULLS Bulls will be available to view on the farm at 12PM March 21 until sale time or anytime prior to sale date.
