Barmer: The bodies of two Pakistani intruders will be handed over back to Pakistan. Officials of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday confirmed the report saying that soon after the incident a flag meeting was held with their Pakistani counterparts. Officials said that besides informing the Pak authorities about the incident during the meeting, they also offered to take back the bodies.
Ravi Gandhi, inspector General at BSF, while confirming the development said that they have asked the Pakistani authorities to provide the identity documents of the intruders and after the due process soon the bodies will be handed over to them.

Jaipur: Three APCCF may be promoted to PCCF soon. Among these, 1992 batch IFS Pawan Kumar Upadhyay, 1993 batch IFS Shikha Mehra and Anurag Bhardwaj can become PCCF. There has been a discussion on this at the highest level. Recently, the State government had promoted 3 ADGs to the post of DG.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-6 in Kota in the matter of statement given by Randhawa regarding PM Narendra Modi. The court has kept the matter for hearing on 9 May.
During the protest against the Adani Group in Jaipur on March 13, Randhawa had said that “nothing will be achieved by killing Adani, finish Modi, the country will be saved if Modi is finished.”
Dilawar first gave the report in Kota’s Mahaveer Nagar police station but he approached the court when the police did not file the case.
RAJ HC RULES OUT PENDENCY OF RECALL APPLICATION, ACS REVENUE APPEARS IN COURT
Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday ruled that the pendency of the recall application in the court cannot be the basis for compliance of the order. A single bench of Justice Mahendra Goyal gave the ruling. The court asked to comply with the order in two weeks in the case related to the promotion to the post of Girdawar. On not doing so, Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Aparna Arora should appear in the court on May 17 and explain the reason. During the hearing in the contempt petition of Shivraj Singh and others, ACS Revenue Aparna Arora informed the High Court that a recall application has been filed in the case.

Barmer: In a tragic incident, a 30-year-old woman in Rajasthan’s Barmer district killed her two kids and later set herself on fire by pouring some flammable chemicals. In the incident two kids died by drowning while the woman died during treatment at a government hospital in Barmer, police said.

CM Gehlot celebrated his birthday among a tribal family in Ghata village. The CM had breakfast at the house of Dharmaram Garasia tribal family. The family was excited to see the Gehlot among them and fed the CM home-made pakoras and lapsi, both made of Palash leaves.

HIGH RESERVOIR TO BE BUILT FOR DRINKING WATER
Jaipur: A new high reservoir will be constructed to provide clean drinking water in the secretariat. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of Rs 7.46 crore for the construction. A new reservoir will be built in place of the old high reservoir in the secretariat complex. With this, clean drinking water supply will be ensured in the Secretariat.
CM approves creation of new posts for Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Jaipur: The state govt is providing opportunities to students to study abroad through the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence scheme, and for this Gehlot has approved the creation of various new posts for smooth and effective operation of the scheme. Financial aid will be provided to all state students who want to complete their higher education at a foreign university.

The Centre had implemented vehicle scrappage policy across the country from 1 April last year to scrap vehicles that are out of date, but even after 1 year the people of the state could not get the benefit of this policy.Scrap centers have been started in other states of the country and vehicles which are not running fast enough are being scrubbed but it is a matter of concern that not a single scrap centre has been started in the state yet. But now even after taking interest from the companies, these centers are not being started due to the negligence of the officials of the Transport Dept.
