Jaipur: The state’s economy will get a boost from the amount received from the Central Government. In 2023-24, the State will get about Rs 6,000 crore more from the Centre. According to the pre-fixed ratio, Rajasthan gets 6.026 per cent. In the last 2 years, the Central Government received Rs 1,065 billion 94 crore from the State, including income tax and CGST. Now the state will get about 61552.47 crore rupees in the coming financial year. The Central Government is estimated to get the highest amount of 1832 billion 37 crore rupees from Uttar Pradesh. Rajasthan ranks second after Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

First India Bureau Jaipur: The State Government is tirelessly working towards realising the vision of ‘Nirogi Rajasthan’, for which Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given approval to open new sub-health centres at 502 gram panchayat headquarters in the State. Also, posts of 502 Women Health Workers (one at each centre) have been sanctioned for these centres. According to the proposal, a provision of up to Rs 30 lakh has been made for the construction of each sub-health centre. Till the infrastructure for new subhealth centres is ready, these centres will operate out of rented or alternative premises. With the opening of new subhealth centres, Rajasthan ranks first in the country with 18 subhealth centres on 1 lakh population. These centres will strengthen health infrastructure in State’s rural areas.

Kota: As part of Congress’ Haath Se Haath Jodo campaign, Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal on Wednesday took out a padyatra in his hometown Kota, Kota North Assembly Constituency’s Badgaon area, and along with Congress leader Amit Dhariwal. They walked through the streets of Badgaon and knocked from house to house.

Assembly Speaker Dr Joshi on Wednesday reviewed the questions asked, calling attention proposals, special mentions, assurances and annual reports in various sessions of the 14th and 15th Assembly. He said that the works should be disposed off on time. “The officers should follow up the annual reports of the departments every year in the month of December, so that this report can be necessarily presented in the House seven days before the commencement of the Assembly session. It is necessary to present the annual report seven days before the session starts,” he said.

Speaker Dr Joshi reviewed the questions asked in various sessions of the 14th and 15th Assembly, department-wise. He instructed the officers to present the answers to the questions in the next 15 days. Dr. Joshi said that the officers should ensure timely submission of questions, calling attention proposals, special mentions, replies to government assurances and annual reports.
