Jodhpur/Nagaur: Ra- jasthan is set to witness another high-profile wedding as Shanelle, daughter of Union Cabinet Minister Smriti Irani and Zubin Irani, is going to tie the knot with Canada-based lawyer Arjun Bhalla on Thursday.
On Tuesday, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got married in an intimate cer- emony in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. The duo tied the knot in the presence of their families and close friends at the Suryagarh Palace.

Shanelle’s wedding functions are being held at the famous Khimsar Fort in Nagaur district near Jodhpur.
While Zubin and the bride groom had already reached the venue on Tuesday, Irani, who could not on account of the session in Parliament, reached sources claim that in comparison to other states, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s relation with state bureaucracy is strong and good. The officials do not work under fear, but with utmost will to do better and stay committed to work. Whereas the truth is that the Chief Minister does not shy away from patting the backs of bureaucrats. In such a good situation, Randhawa’s ‘words’ to ministers is pointless.
Jodhpur on Wednesday morning and headed straight to the venue by road to join the functions.
According to the fort sources, the guest list has already been provided to the fort management. The ceremonies began with the rituals like ‘mehandi’ and application of turmeric on Wednesday and will culminate in the night with a musical and dance programme along with dinner.
Justice Mehta recommended as Gauhati CJ

Jaipur: The Supreme Court Collegium on Wednesday recommended the name of Justice Sandeep Mehta of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.
On February 7, the Supreme Court made a collegium recommendation to the Central Government. The SC has said in the recommendation that, “There is no Chief Justice of Rajasthan origin in the country.”
