Raut slams Bawankule over ‘all welcome in party’ remark
First India Bureau
Mumbai: Senior Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat resigned from the post of Congress Party Legislature Party Leader on Tuesday.
Reacting over the same, BJP’s state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, “If anyone wants to join BJP, they can come. We welcome everyone.”
Now, Shiv Sena (Thack- eray group) MP Sanjay Raut has criticized Bawankule’s statement.
Raut said, “They are ready to accommodate anyone. There is an organization where BJP is in the business of creating activists. In this case, there will be Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP. Where is the original BJP? Where is the party of original ideas? Bawankule should comment on this once.”
The MLA has asked to book the collector under the SC/ST Act level. Bhusara said he suggested that there should be a district- wise review first to understand the utilization of funds and other aspects of the schemes.
The review could have helped him prepare better and make suggestions or demands, said the MLA’s letter.
“Palghar District Collector Govind Bodke claim, so we will investigate it.” misbehaved with me and said he doesn’t need to ask me what to do. He also said that he has taken the decision (regarding the schemes) as per his knowledge,” Bhusara wrote in the letter. The MLA has asked the police to book the collector.
