Mumbai: After a recent verbal attack by Rahul Gandhi in Parliament over Centre regarding the ‘working’ of Mumbai airport, a senior official of the GVK Group has discarded the claims by the Congress leader.

Navi Mumbai: The monthly Lokshahi Din will be held on March 06 by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). By February 20, applicants must submit two copies of their applications in the prescribed format. The application form can be accessed from the official website of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
The complaint or statement mentioned in the application should be of personal nature. It is to be noted that before submitting their applications for Lokshahi Day, the applicants must have already voiced their concerns

According to sources, the civic body only got one complaint throughout Lokshahi Day in the month of January, and it was about encroachment. Mumbai (PTI): The man arrested for allegedly mowing down a journalist with his car in Ratnagiri, has been charged with first-degree murder by the police, an official said.
The 42-year-old accused was arrested under section 304 (Culpable Homicide not amounting to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police have added section 302 (Punishment for murder) in the FIR against Amberkar, the official said. Several media outlets had demanded an investigation into the death of scribe Shashikant Warishe, claiming he had written against local land dealer Pandharinath Amberkar.
They had alleged that Amberkar crushed scribe’s bike under his car at a petrol pump in Ratnagiri. Warishe succumbed to the injuries at a Kolhapur hospital on Tuesday. Earlier, Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Patrakar Parishad members had met Devendra Fadnavis, Home Minister of the state and sought a proper enquiry into Warishe’s death. directed the ASI to dispose of the application.
Aberkar, who is said to be a supporter of proposed Ratnagiri refinery project, was remanded in police custody in Rajapur till February 13.
