Four of family die on way back from Ramdevra after praying
Seven others were injured in the collision of Creta and an oil tanker in Jodhpur
Four people of a family died and 7 were injured in a massive collision between a Creta car and an oil tanker on the outskirts of Keru-Meglasia village of Jodhpur late on Saturday night. They were residents of Nagaur and were returning from Ramdevra, police said on Sunday.

Among dead are two women, a child and a man.
Jhanwar SHO Parameshwari said the deceased were identified as Draupadi, Rajudevi, 10-year-old Jaswant and 38-year-old Narpat. While Munnidevi, Anjali, Pawan, Mahavir, Lucky, Jyoti are injured. There were 6 children & 5 adults in the car.
Two youths died in an accident at Lapaliya Kheda intersection of Kareda police station area in Bhilwara. Police have kept the bodies in the mortuary of Mandal Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Raju and Kanhaiyalal. Both were residents of Chittorgarh. A postmortem will be done after arrival of relatives.
In another accident in Udaipur, two people on a bike were killed after colliding with a jeep. Both died before reaching the hospital. The accident happened in Nalafla Ghodasar of Semari police station. The two were returning home from Ahmedabad. Their dead bodies have been kept in the mortuary.
3 KILLED, DOZEN INJURED AS TRAILER RAMS INTO CAR
Fatehpur (Sikar): Three people were killed and a dozen were injured after a speeding trailer collided head-on with a car in Fatehpur town of Sikar district on Sunday afternoon, police said. Police informed the deceased have been identified as Mafiya Bano (60), Aarif (45) and Rehmat Bano (55), all residents of Fatehpur. “The incident took place near Bathod bus stand on the national highway on Sunday. The victims were heading towards Sikar for the engagement ceremony of Rehmat’s son when a speeding trailer coming from the opposite side rammed into the car. 3 of them died on the spot while a dozen members of the family were injured in the mishap and were rushed to hospital for first-aid,” said Sadar Police Station SHO KK Dhankhar.
