Six IAS officers coming back to Rajasthan

Unidentified cyber criminals attempted to dupe a Rajasthan High Court judge in Jaipur. They used abusive words when the judge refused to share details with the miscreants. Following the directions of the judge, the court master of Rajasthan High Court has filed an FIR. The High Court judge received an anonymous call at 9:28 am on June 7. The miscreants impersonated SBI officials and asked for the credit card details of the judge. The HC judge refused to share the details and instead asked the miscreant for his identity.

CURAJ gets NAAC A++ Grade
The Central University of Rajasthan has been accredited with a CGPA of 3.54 and the highly coveted A++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Peer team consisting of two Vice-Chancellors of reputed Universities, Director of a state university and Professor from a Central University visited the Central University of Rajasthan from 22 to 24 May this year and reviewed various parameters.
The parameters included curriculum, teaching- learning and evaluation; research, innovation and expansion; learning infrastructure and resources; student support and progress; Governance, Leadership and Management. The committee also verified the claims made by the university in its self-study report regarding physical facilities like class rooms, sports and cultural facilities, research laboratories, hostels, faculty quarters etc.

In a good news for the bureaucracy of the state, six IAS officers who were either on study leave or central deputation will return to the state and will take up new responsibilities.
The officers will return by June end or July. The officers include Rajan Vishal, Archana Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Neha Giri, Arushi Malik and Anandhi. 2007-batch officer Anandhi is also returning from deputation at LBSNAA Mussoorie, where she was working as deputy director.
Rajan Vishal, Inderjeet Singh and Arushi Malik had gone to foreign training in June last year. Inderjeet Singh’s wife Neha Giri and Rajan Vishal’s wife Archana Singh had also gone with them and will now return. Rajan and Archana are the officers of 2008 batch, Inderjeet Singh and Neha Giri are from 2010 batch
State Ifs Cadre Lacks Strength
Rajasthan’s forest department is running on the strength of only 77 IFS officers, that too when the state has the maximum number of tiger and leopard reserves and conservation reserves. The number of IFS officers working in the state is only 77. The cadre strength is of 92 offi cers. 4 offi cers of APCCF level, 2 offi cers each of CCF and CF level and 7 Deputy Conservator of Forests are presently on deputation. One of them, Sangram Singh Katiyar, is under APO status. 8 IFS offi cers are on training currently. Nirmal Tiwari while Arushi Malik is of 2005 batch. After their return, the burden of additional charge on officers will be reduced.
