Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday reiterated his stand to declare the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) as a national project. Gehlot said that availability of drinking water and water for irrigation in 13 districts of Rajasthan is very important.
Gehlot was addressing the ceremony of inauguration of DelhiMumbai E-way & work of 4 NHs. He skipped the event and addressed the gathering through VC from the CMR. Gehlot termed connecting the Delhi-Mumbai expressway with Jaipur as useful. He said that along with the construction of new roads in the state, strengthening works are being done by the state govt.
