Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Friday, inaugurated the unique and luxurious city park developed by Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) at Mansarovar in Jaipur.
Gehlot spent about an hour at the parl and during this time he gazed at the mesmerizing views of this wonderful park.

Police informed that the incident occurred in Shri Nath Nagar under the Sanganer Sadar Po lice Station area.

The petitioners, Sant Vaidehi Vallabh Dev Acharya Maharaj and Krishna Das Ma haraj filed a PIL and stated that entry of po litical leaders and con testing candidates
should be banned at religious places after the model code of con duct comes into force as they seek votes on the basis of caste, reli gion and name.

Jaipur: A female do mestic maid employed at a house in Vaishali Nagar decamped with jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. Alwar: In Alwar, a father raped his nineyear-old daughter in the Behror police station area. On October 20, a call was received on the child helpline number 1098 after which Coordinator Mukesh Kumar Poswal left for Behror immediately. Lokesh Kumar, Subesh Kumar and Poonam Devi of the child helpline team were reached the victim’s house.
The victim was with the neighbouring children at that time. Initially, she was shocked, but slowly she opened up and narrated her ordeal. However, some people opposed the inquiry by the team.
Later, the team left with the victim and her mother. The accused could not be found and search is on to nab him.
During interrogation it came to light that the
family of the accused and his brothers live in the same place. On the night of the incident, the mother sent the victim to sleep by her father’s side. The father raped her. When the mother came, she found her daughter bleeding.
The family members took the girl to a doctor and told that she fell while playing which caused the injury. The doctor put nine stitches on the private part.
When team asked the victim and her mother to register an FIR, the family members protested. Additional police were called from police station after which the family members allowed the mother and the victim to go.

Morena: Four persons, including a mother-daughter duo, were killed and six others injured after a house, where firecrackers were stored by a tenant, collapsed following a blast in Banmore town of Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district on Thursday, police said. The impact of the blast was so severe that the ground-plus-one-storey structure was reduced to rubble, while two nearby houses were also damaged. The tenant’s wife, their eight-year-old daughter and two more persons, including a seven-year-old boy, died in the incident that occurred around 11am, they said.

Muslim community in India’. The SC issued notice to Delhi, UP and Uttarakhand police and asked them to file a report on action taken against such offences within their jurisdiction. The court also ordered govts and police to take suo motu action in the hate speech cases.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear the plea of a women’s organisation seeking directions to revoke the remission granted to 11 convicts, who had gang-raped Bilkis Bano and murdered her family members during the 2002 Godhra riots. A bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and CT Ravikumar tagged the matter with the main petition pending before the apex court. The plea was filed by the National Federation of India, whose General Secretary is Annie Raja, challenged the remission of sentence and the release of convicts in the case.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday junked a plea seeking the opening of 22 rooms in the Taj Mahal to enquire into the monument’s history. A bench dismissed the plea saying it was a “publicity interest litigation”. Dismissing appeal filed against the Allahabad High Court order, the bench said, “The High Court was not in error in dismissing the petition, which is more of a publicity interest litigation. Dismissed.”

Prayagraj: A private hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has been sealed for allegedly transfusing fruit juice instead of blood platelets into a dengue patient who died later, an official said. A probe was ordered after the incident came to light in which, according to Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr AK Tiwari, “some irregularities” were found. “CMO ordered a probe after the patient died. In the probe, some irregularities were found. It has been sealed till the probe is completed,” the additional CMO said. “It is a matter of probe. The probe will take action. The complainant has filed an FIR.”

New Delhi: India’s forex reserves dropped by $4.50 billion to $528.37 billion for the week ended October 14, the RBI said on Friday.
New Delhi: Reliance Jio Infocomm on Friday posted a 28% year-on-year rise in its net profit for the September quarter at `4,518 crore. Its net profit stood at `3528 crore in the same period previous fiscal, the telco said in a regulatory filing. The revenue from operations jumped 20.2% to `22,521 crore for the just ended quarter, from `18,735 crore in the year-ago period. The Q2 scorecard comes amid large-scale network deployments across the country for 5G services.
The overall reserves had increased by $204 million to $532 billion in the previous reporting week, which was the first weekly increase in the kitty since August this year.
In October 2021, the country’s forex kitty had reached an all-time high of $645 billion.
The reserves have been declining as the central bank deploys the kitty to
defend the rupee amid pressures caused majorly by global developments.

New Delhi: FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Friday reported a 22.19% rise in its consolidated net profit to Rupees 2,670 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, mainly helped by volume growth. The company had posted a net profit of `2,185 crore in the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal. Its total income increased 16.44% during the quarter under review to `15,253 crore. It was `13,099 crore in the yearago period, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) said in a regulatory filing.
The number of weekly flights will be 1.55% lower than 22,287 flights operated in the previous winter schedule.
The winter schedule will be effective from October 30, 2022 till March 25, 2023.

New Delhi: Indian aviation regulator DGCA on Friday removed the 50% cap restrictions on SpiceJet flights. A senior DGCA official said that SpiceJet can operate at full capacity from October 30 onwards. During the ‘Enhanced surveillance’ period, SpiceJet has shown improvement in their operations, he said.
“Out of these 105 airports Deoghar, Shimla and Rourkela are the new airports proposed by the scheduled airlines,” aviation regulator DGCA said in a release on Friday.

New Delhi (PTI): The government has extended the deadline for filing GST returns for the month of September by a day to October 21, the CBIC said on Friday.
On Thursday, taxpayers faced a slow functioning of the GST portal, which was the last date for filing monthly GST returns for some taxpayers.
Following that, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) had said that an extension of the due date was being considered.
“The GST Implementation Committee of GST Council has approved extension of the due date of filing GSTR-3B return for the month of September 2022, for the monthly filers, from 20th October, 2022 to 21st October 2022,” the CBIC tweeted on Friday.
Monthly return and tax payment form GSTR-3B is filed in staggered manner between the 20th, 22nd, and 24th of each month by taxpayers in different states.
GSTN provides the technology backend for running GST.

Udaipur: Police here have arrested 2 miscreants in two-month-old case wherein 23 kgs of gold and Rs 10 lakh cash was looted from Manappuram Gold Loan Bank in Sundarwas area under Pratap Nagar Police Station area of Udaipur. Police informed two arrested have been identified as Prince Kumar and Fantush Kumar. “Of the five accused, two have been arrested. With this sculpture, he also took a selfie and walked about 100 meters on the walking track to see the middle road plaza, oth er sculptures, special artefacts as well as the flower show area. In fact, it was this spot, which RHB Commis sioner Pawan Arora ap prised the Chief Minis ter that for about 3.5 kms. visitors will be able to enjoy light mu sic while walking on this track.

The first day kicked off with a ceremony where all the finalists were welcomed with a sash and a gift hamper and as the evening rolled in, the talent round and question-answer round for First India Queen also started. The day witnessed
