T-102 spotted with 2 cubs; Lion ‘Riyaz’ to undergo eye surgery

Jodhpur : The tigress of Ranthambore has once again populated other tiger reserves of the state. On July 19, 2022, the tigress T-102 was shifted to Bundi’s Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve (RVTR) from Aamaghati forest area of Ranthambore. Now T-102 has given birth to cubs in RVTR. According to the forest dept, two cubs were spotted with the tigress.
The age of the cubs is said to be around oneand-a-half to 2 months.
Forest officials, however, said that so far the tigress has not been captured on camera with the cubs, so they cannot say this with certainty.
In Jodhpur, the lion ‘Riyaz’ at Machia Biological Park will soon undergo an eye surgery. The lion had an eyesight problem since birth and lost his vision 15 days ago, following which, the forest officials decided to do surgery.

Internet shutdown in 11 districts for Grade-3 teacher recruitment exam
Jaipur (FIB): The internet will be banned in 11 districts of the State from Saturday in view of the teacher recruitment exam to be held for 48, 000 posts. The exam is on Feb 25, 26, and 27 and March 1. The RSSB wrote a letter to the CS demanding net ban from 6 am to 6 pm.
Now, Home Dept has written a letter to all the Divisional Commissioners to issue an order in this regard. Out of 9 shifts, five shifts will be held in Jaipur. The aspirants will be able to travel free in roadways buses and temporary bus stands will be built outside Sindhi Camp on February 25 and 26.

Udaipur: The court sent paper leak mastermind Bhupendra Saran to four days in police remand. Udaipur Police and SOG will interrogate Saran. The DST team reached Udaipur from Bengaluru on Friday. He was arrested by ATS and SOG from Bengaluru on Thursday. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was declared on Saran in the paper leak case. During the interrogation, Saran, the prime accused in the 2nd grade govt teacher recruitment paper leak case, has revealed the name of a govt teacher Sher Singh Meena in connection to the leak. Saran purchased the general knowledge paper from Sher Singh Meena for Rs 40 lakhs and later gave this paper to Suresh Dhaka.
Vikram Singh, Upendra Singh reached Udaipur with the accused. Before producing Bhupendra Saran in the court, he was paraded for 2 KMs on foot from Hathipol Police Station to Court Chauraha. The court sent him to police remand till February 27.
