New Delhi: Auto component replacement demand is estimated to grow 6-8% in the next fiscal driven by factors such as the increase in mobility and healthy freight movement, among others. The improvement in demand has resulted in a positive impact on cash flows for aftermarket dealers and garages while the liquidity remains comfortable, credit ratings agency Icra said in the report. Also, there have been relatively minimal issues in the collection of receivables. —PTI
New Delhi: State-owned NTPC Ltd has paid an interim dividend of `4,121.08 crore to its shareholders for the financial year 2022-23. The dividend paid is 42.50% of the paid-up equity share capital of the company. ‘’NTPC Ltd has paid an interim dividend of `4,121.08 crore today for the financial year 2022-23. This is the 30th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd has paid a dividend,’’ it said. NTPC is the largest power producer in India. —PTI
WORLD NEEDS NEW INSTITUTIONS TO DRIVE CLIMATE ACTION, SDGs, SAYS AMITABH KANT
New Delhi: The world needs new institutions to drive climate action and sustainable development goals (SDGs) as organisations such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are not designed to address these challenges, India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said on Friday. Kant talked about the challenges and said they are “external” and referred to the Ukraine war and the prevailing situation in the West. “We have seen the war going on for one year, we don’t know how it will shape up in the coming days. G20 is essentially a consensus building platform,” he said. —PTI
ZEE CASE: NCLAT STAYS INSOLVENCY PROCEEDINGS
New Delhi: The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Friday stayed the insolvency proceedings against media major Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL).
Admitting a plea by ZEEL MD and CEO Punit Goenka, a two-member NCLAT bench stayed the order passed by the Mumbai bench of the NCLT.

SPICEJET POSTS `107 CRORE PROFIT IN DECEMBER QUARTER
New Delhi: No-frills airline SpiceJet on Friday reported a higher net profit of `107 crore in the three months ended December 2022, helped by better performance in passenger and cargo businesses. The carrier had a net profit of `23.28 crore in the year-ago period. In the third quarter of the current fiscal, the airline’s net profit stood at `221 crore, excluding forex adjustment and the corresponding figure in the same period a year ago was at `20 cr. Revenues rose to `2,794 cr in the latest quarter. —PTI
