Jaipur/Udaipur : Sainik Welfare Minister Rajendra Gudha on Wednesday cornered his own government over the teachers’ paper leak case.

He said that there should be an inquiry into the matter.

“It is our failure that we are not able to conduct the examination. Papers are leaking. We are unable to take action. The government has done a lot of works for the public in the state, but due to paper leaks the benefits may be lost,” he said.

Gudha said that somewhere there must be loophole at the government level. “This matter may be investigated from anywhere, but one thing is clear that we have failed to get the paper done and if we cannot get the paper done, then it is not right,” he added.

CM Jagan Reddy meets Modi; discusses Polavaram project

100 flights disrupted due to dense fog in North

Udaipur/Jaipur : The 17-year-old tiger T-24, popularly known as Ustad, died in confinement on Wednesday at the Sajjangarh Biological Park, Udaipur. The tiger, shifted to the park after being labeled as a man-eater, was suffering from a disease like bone cancer.

Being old, it was becoming difficult for him to bear the pain of illness at this age. The post-mortem was done in Sajjangarh.

Due to old age and illness, the tiger started feeling difficulty in walking tat is why it was kept in the most secluded enclosure for a few months. In the second week of October, Tiger T-24 was diagnosed with a disease like bone cancer in the primary test.

Police informed the accused Sarjudas Maharaj is the chief priest of Hanuman Temple (Dang) located in Ghodas village under Mandal Police Station area.

“Sarjudas Maharaj was arrested on Wednesday on charges of sexually exploiting a minor girl. Udaipur: A local trader in Udaipur has been threatened with killing like that of Kanhaiyalal Tailor. Police informed the victim, Govind Patel, has filed a police complaint at Sarada Police Station.

“The victim runs seed shop near his house. On Tuesday night, stones were thrown at his shop by some miscreants. As soon as Patel came out, he saw three people standing out of his shop. Under the Defense Accounts Sports Controller Board (DASCB), the 10th All India Defense Accounts Department Badminton Competition was started on December 26 at Atal Bihari Bajpai Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Udaipur. There are 140 participants in the competition, including 48 female participants.

The four-day sports festival, which began on December 26, will conclude on December 29, in which the winners will be awarded. In the said competition, 31 teams from all over the country are competing among themselves.

Out of 31 teams, 16 teams have joined

from PCDA offices and 15 teams have joined from CDA offices.

The program was inaugurated by Dr Rajeev Chavan, Principal Controller of Defense Accounts (Southern Command) by lighting the lamp. In his inaugural address, Dr Chavan welcomed the participants and encouraged them. He told that sports are an essential part of our life which not only helps in achieving good health but also develops qualities like teamwork and tolerance.

Apart from this, stating the urgency of developing infrastructure for the development of sports for the Defense Accounts Department, he assured to development of a stadium for various sports in Pune, through which the dream of the Khelo India scheme of the Prime Minister could be realized.

AU Jaipur Marathon organised by World Trade Park and Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha along with AU Small Finance Bank will enter its 14th edition on February 5, this time promoting running and a healthy lifestyle in preparation for it.

Jaipur Marathon organiser Pandit Suresh Mishra told that from January 2, free training camps will be organised at 7 places in Jaipur. In this training camp, zonal directors of the Jaipur Runners Club and Oryx trainers will prepare new runners for the marathon to be held on February 5.
