Sitharaman briefs BJP MPs on Union Budget
New Delhi (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday arrived in the Parliament to brief the Members of Parliaments (MPs) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the Union Budget 2023-24 presented in the Parliament earlier this week. All Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs of the party were told to be present in the meeting, being held ahead of Friday’s Parliament Session. Visuals from Parliament said Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Kiren Rijiju, Dharmendra Pradhan, V Muraleedharan and BJP MPs Sukanta Majumdar and Sushil Modi were seen arriving for the meeting.

A ccording to a latest survey by Morning Consult, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as the most popular global leader, leaving behind other popular leaders like Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak, etc. from 22 countries. The survey was conducted between January 26 to 31. Modi topped with a popularity approval rating of 78%. He was then followed by Mexico’s President Lopez Obrador with an approval rating of 68%. Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese ranked third with a rating of 58% in popularity.

Threat call received to blow up Ram Temple in Ayodhya: UP Police
Ayodhya (ANI): A threat call was received at Ram Lalla Sadan in Ayodhya to blow up the Ram Janmabhoomi where the construction of Ram temple is underway.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Madhuban Singh said that a man named Manoj Kumar received a call from an unidentified caller from Delhi, threatning that there would be a blast at the Ram Janmabhoomi.
“Manoj Kumar who is residing at Ram Lalla Sadan in Ayodhya got a call at around 5 am on Thursday where a person from Delhi said that by 10 am there’d be a blast at Ram Janmabhoomi. Teams are formed to arrest the person. The man would be arrested soon and action would be taken against him,” the SP said.

Jaipur: Ahead of presenting the State Budget on February 10, CM Ashok Gehlot met ministers and MLAs at his residence here on Friday. The public representatives put forward demands for their areas to be included in the Budget while some MLAs also complained against the local administration and police officials. Discussions were also held about formation of new districts.
The CM asked top-3 priorities from each MLA to be included in the Budget. The CM will give gifts to every MLA by rising above the party line. Although some MLAs have given a long list to the CM but now they will have to trim it to top-3 priorities. Ministers Parsadi Lal
