Jaisalmer: As the world famous Maru Mahotsav 2023 started, Jaisalmer MLA Ruparam Dhandev and District Collector Tina Dabi formally inaugurated the event on Friday at Shaheed Poonam Singh Stadium in Jaisalmer. City Council Chairman Harivallabh Kalla, State Women's Commission member Anjana Meghwal, Additional District Collector Gopallal Swarnakar, along with public representatives, officials, domestic and foreign tourists and others were present during the festival.

Various competitions were organized at the stadium. The most liked was the competition of Miss Moomal and Mr Desert. 51 participants from different districts participated in the Mr Desert competition, in which Ganpat Singh won the title of Mr Desert-2023. On

Lovers End Life On Railway Tracks In Alwar

Alwar: A couple, likely to be in a relationship, allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train near Digawara Railway Station in Rajgarh town of Alwar district on Thursday late night, police said. Police informed the man and the girl left their respective houses after 12 am and reached Dihawada railway station and then jumped in front of a speeding train. “At around 2am, the GRP got information that a couple had died after being hit by a moving train,” police said.

MAN SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPING MINOR

Pratapgarh: A special POCSO court here has sentenced a 20-year-old man to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl. Rathore, CM’s OSD face off over nursing colleges in State
