Hanumangarh: The ACB arrested Subhash Saharan Regional Deputy Director Agriculture Marketing Department Hanumangarh for taking a bribe of Rs one lakh on Friday. ACB

ADG Hemant Priyadarshy (Additional Charge Director General) said that a complaint was given to ACB’s Hanumangarh unit by complainant that Saharan in lieu of sending the letter to the District Industry Centre Hanumangarh after reporting on the exemption received from the Agriculture Marketing Dept demanded Rs 2 lakh bribe amount.

After verifying the complaint, a trap was laid and Subhash Saharan was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from the complainant.

Under the direction of IG ACB Sawai Singh Godara, the accused was being interrogated and searches were conducted at his premises.

FOREST & CATTLE GUARDS HELD FOR TAKING `5K BRIBE IN KOTA’S BAPAWAR

Kota: Jhalawar ACB team while taking action in Kota’s Bapawar on Friday caught Babulal Gurjar (Forest Guard) and Jagdish Prasad Gochar (Cattle Guard) taking a bribe of Rs 5000. According to officials, the complaint said that Gurjar and Gochar demanded Rs 6,000 monthly in lieu of allowing tractor’s movement around Parvan river. Mass cheating alleged during UGC NET exam, video shot

Jaipur : A case of mass cheating surfaced during the examination of UGC NET examination at Nitin Public Senior Secondary School in Jaipur on Friday. The students alleged that the first shift paper of UGC NET of Geography subject was held on Friday, during which, the students went inside the examination hall with mobile phones and solved the paper with the help of the internet.

“Students were allowed to carry mobiles inside the examination hall. There was no teacher in the examination hall and students were cheating in groups. The paper should be cancelled,” said the students. “One of the students also recorded the video of the examination hall where students were doing mass cheating. Following the ruckus, the school management fled from the spot and police officials from Bajaj Nagar Police Station reached the spot,” added a source.

Jaipur: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Friday sealed a three-storey illegal building in the Rampura area in Sanganer. Officials informed that four plots were reconstituted illegally and construction was done on zero setbacks on the 600 square yards plot. “The plot is situated in Narayan Vihar – C scheme on Rampura Road. Construction of the basement and two stories were done while the third floor was about to be constructed. The enforcement wing sealed the building and stopped the construction,” said a JDA official.

On May 25, 2019, a surprise inspection was done by ACB team and Rs 55,900 recovered from him.
