Both the Houses of Parliament adjourned following ruckus over Adani Group issue

First India Bureau New Delhi: Both Houses of Parliament adjourned for the day following opposition’s protest over the Adani Group issue. This was the third consecutive day when the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha could not transact any substantive business due to disruption by the Opposition parties. In Lok Sabha, when the House reassembled after the first adjournment at 2 pm, members from Congress, DMK and others trooped into the well demanding JPC probe into the matter. In the Rajya Sabha, when the House reassembled at 2 PM after the first adjournment, Opposition members again tried to raise the Adani Group issue. P6

RaGa: CENTRE TRYING TO AVOID DISCUSSION IN PARL ON ADANI ROUT

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi spoke to the reporters on Monday and said, “PM Modi ji will do his best to avert a discussion on Adani in Parliament. There is a reason for it and you know that. There should be a discussion on Adani issue and the truth should come out.”
