Oxfam India continued to transfer Foreign Contributions to various entities even after coming into force of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2020 which prohibits such transfers.

Oxfam India received a foreign contribution amounting to `1.50 crore (approx) directly into its FC utilization account instead the FCRA account.

WRONG DECISION: CONGRESS VETERAN AK ANTONY AFTER HIS SON JOINS BJP

Thiruvananthapuram: Veteran Congress leader AK Antony on Thursday reacted to his son Anil Antony joining BJP, saying that it was a “very wrong” decision. He said, “This has “hurt” me. India’s base is unity, religious harmony. After 2014, Modi govt came to power, they’re systematically diluting diversity, secularism. BJP is destroying constitutional values of country.” He also clarified that his loyalty will remain with the “Nehru family”.

34% productivity in LS, 24.4% in RS;

New Delhi (FIB): Both LS & RS were adjourned sine die on Thursday, bringing an end to the Budget Session that registered very low productivity of 34% in LS and 24.4% in RS. A total of 6 bills were passed by both LS as well as RS.
