Meena, a resident of Daula-ka-Bas, Chomu, is posted at the government school in Abu Road. He is absconding since his name cropped up in the paper leak case.
At present, another mastermind Bhupendra Saran, who is in jail, had revealed during interrogation that he had bought four papers from Sher Singh. Since then, the police was continuously raiding to nab Sher Singh.
The state government has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh each on absconding accused Suresh Dhaka and Anil alias Sher Singh in the paper leak case. The jailed accused Bhupendra Saran had told during interrogation that he had bought the paper from Sher Singh Meena.
Two more die of Covid, 100 new cases registered

Jaipur: The State recorded two more Corona deaths and 100 new cases on Thursday. According to the health department bulletin, one patient each died in Baran and Kota. The bulletin also recorded 100 fresh Covid-19 cases from various areas of the state with which active cases rose to 294.

Mercury rising: Airports reduce flight operations

Jaipur: Flight operations have reduced with temperature rising across the State.
Jaisalmer airport wear a deserted look these days. During winters when the inflow of tourists was strong, an average 3 to 4 flights were operating daily from here. Jaisalmer had air connectivity to Jaipur, New Delhi and Ahmedabad.
But now air services have stopped. Jaisalmer is not the only airport where flight operations have stopped in summer.

The two firms Jai Mahakal and Jugdamba water suppliers were booked at Jawahar Nagar Police Station on Tuesday in connection with the incident that happened last October, they said.
The coaching institute, where these students studied, is under a probe too, police said.
The two water firms were booked under sections 269, 278, 336, and 304 (A) related to death by negligence and spread of infection of IPC, Circle Officer DSP Amar Singh said.
The operators of the firms were yet to be traced and interrogated, he added. The FIR was filed on the basis of sample reports of contaminated water from the coaching institute, its mess, and hostel, police said. The report was submitted by Talwandi Primary Health Centre In-charge Dr Dipesh Tiwari.

In Bikaner, on an average there will be flights three days a week. At Kishangarh airport, flights to Indore have stopped and flights to Surat will be for four days a week.
Flight operations also reduced at Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur airports as well.

Alwar: Four people, including three children, were killed in Kathumar town of Alwar district on Thursday night when a tractor filled with illegally mined sand rammed into a tempo.
Following the incident, the villagers set the tractor on fire and pelted stones on police Jeep and fire brigades.
“The incident took place on KathumarBanokhar road near Khera Maida village in Kathumar when the victims were heading towards Sunyana village. Murari Lal and his three died on the spot while his wife sustained griev- ous injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Kathumar and later referred to Alwar,” police said.
“The villagers gathered after the incident and set the tractor ablaze. The Behtu Kalan Police reached the spot, but the villagers started pelting stones of the police. ,” police added.
Udaipur: The Udaipur Forest Department team and Wildlife Crime Control Bureau in a joint operation arrested three in connection with smuggling organs of wildlife. The teams recovered 20 turtles and two nails said to be of panther or lion from the smugglers.
The Forest Department teams got a tip-off about the smuggling on social media. Based on inputs, teams of Udaipur Forest Department and Wildlife Crime Control Bureau teams conducted a decoy operation and posed as common buyers. The forest department teams are interrogating the arrested. the certificate was taken in the building map committee meeting chaired by JDA commissioner Ravi Jain.
Smugglers being active in the Udaipur region may affect tourism business. The tribaldominated area of Udaipur is known for its unique and abundant wildlife.
Smuggling of turtles, one of the Class 1 species of the water animal, is a non-bailable offence under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
The committee has decided to issue the certificate in two cases. Affordable housing policy was brought to be built houses for the poor. In turn, benefits related to Build Area Ratio (BAR) were to be given to the developer. Under this certificate, the developer can use extra BAR elsewhere. For this, the developer will not have to pay a betterment levy.
Cong’s 2nd list out, no decision yet on Kolar seat
