Jodhpur: The sixth convocation ceremony of Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, under the chairmanship of Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra, took place on Friday in the newly constructed Sushrut Auditorium of the University. Degrees were awarded to 942 students while 6 students were honoured with gold medals.
Mishra inaugurated the convocation ceremony by lighting the lamp. AYUSH Minis- ter Dr. Subhash Garg and former ViceChancellor of the University Prof. Banwarilal Gaur were the special guests of the function.

CM Gehlot okays `1,691 crore for construction of Dewas-III and IV dams

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 1691 crore for the construction of Dewas-III and IV dams to ensure additional drinking water supply in Udaipur city.
Through these dams, 1 thousand million cubic feet of water will be diverted every year for the supply of drinking water in Udaipur city. In Udaipur city, more than 6 lakh people will be benefitted by the availability of additional 3.43 crore liters of drinking water from these dams. It is noteworthy that Gehlot had announced the construction of Dewas-III and IV dams in Udaipur in the budget 2023-24. This approval has been given in compliance with the said budget announcement.
