Special courts organised for disposal of cases

Jaipur: Chief Information Commissioner of Rajasthan State Information Commission DB Gupta said that special courts are being organised continuously by the Commission for speedy disposal of cases. He said that this is the sixth special court organized by the Commission in this sequence.

Gupta was hearing the cases of pending second appeals and com- plaints related to Bharatpur division in the special court here on
Saturday. He said that a total of 261 cases of pending appeals and
SPEED UP CASES complaints of Dholpur, Karauli and Bharatpur districts of Bharatpur division were listed in this special court. A total of 5 courts were operated in the commission through which 260 cases were executed. and 2-3 bighas of land for panorama of freedom fighters.
He informed that on an average 1,000 appeals and complaints are registered in the commission every month, out of which 1500 cases including backlog cases are being disposed of by the commission. Along with the hearing on the current cases, the backlog is also ending.
Instructions were also given to the local officials of the tourism department for this. A budget of Rs 2 crore has been given for sports boating and other activities.
Pradesh Congress Committee member Girraj Samotya expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for this.

Ajmer: The inauguration ceremony of the Students’ Union office was organized at the Government College, Kekdi on Saturday. The program started with the lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome song, after that the guests were welcomed. The details of college activities were presented by Principal Piyush Kumar Gupta and by mentioning the achievements in the current session.
He urged that the college administration should continue to cooperate in the development of the college in future also. Dr Raghu Sharma said that physical, mental, cultural i.e. all-round development can be achieved only through education.

Jaipur: BJP leaders and workers protesting against the alleged misbehaviour with the wives of the martyrs pelted stones at the police in Jaipur on Saturday. When the workers left the party headquarters, police tried to stop them but MLA Madan Dilawar laid down at the feet of the police personnel. While trying to cross the barricade, State President Satish Poonia sustatained injury in his leg. Later, BJP leaders and workers courted arrest. They were taken to Vidyadhar Nagar police station and later released. There were protests in various districts across the state.
