Jaipur: Cabinet Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas reached the SMS Hospital to meet Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena, who is undergoing treatment there. He condemned the police action and said that Meena is his friend and he has stood for the common man.

Jaipur: The Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL) in a bid to reduce noise pollution in Jaipur has decided to remove pressure horns from low floor buses plying in the city.

Ajitabh Sharma took a decision in this regard and directed officials that pressure horns should be removed from low-floor buses.

“The pressure horns will be replaced with normal horns in the low-floor buses. The decision has been taken to reduce noise pollution in the city, as the noise of the pressure horns blown by bus operators was unbearable and created a lot of problems for the commuters,” said an official.

Earlier, to make the city transportation environment friendly, JCTSL had planned to appoint a Chief Sus- tainability Officer (CSO) who would implement the environment sustainability governance (ESG) strategies. and sustainable policies on behalf of the corporation.

Jaipur: Social workers awarded with the “National Youth Award of Rajasthan” will be able to travel free of cost in roadways from April 1.

In the budget, the state government allowed free travel for social workers who got national awards and first winners in cultural competitions, nationally awarded NCC cadets and scouts and guides.

Jaipur: The Forest department team on Saturday arrested a man for killing a leopard, in 48 hours. The leopard was electrocuted in the Raiser range by the accused with the help of an aide on March 4.
