Probe on for one & a half hours

On Monday, Delhi Crime Branch interrogated Lokesh Sharma for about one & a half hrs during which about two dozen questions were asked about audio that went viral. Reportedly, Lokesh cooperated continuously in inquiry & till now he has been called for questioning 6 times wherein, he personally appeared thrice & had sent written notes in the remaining three times.

It is clear that the Centre is misusing agencies. How is forwarding an audio clip that was found on social media considered as phone tapping?

Kota: With LS Speaker Om Birla’s efforts, world’s best Science Centre and Planetarium will be built in Kota. The science and space information and models displayed at the Centre will be similar to any other planetarium in the world. The Science Centre will be managed by Science and Technology Dept of Raj Govt.

For construction of Planetarium, an MoU was signed between National Council of Science Museums & the Science & Technology Dept of Govt of Rajasthan. It will be built at a cost of about Rs 35.25 crore. Along with this, an ‘Innovation Hub’ will also be constructed in second phase. During the MoU signing, LS Speaker Om Birla asked to prepare a proposal for this also. Rs 22.5 crore will be spent on Science Centre, of which Rs 9.58 cr will be borne by Centre, while Rs 12.67 cr by Raj govt. Rs 13 crore will be spent on setting up Planetarium, where, Rs 5.60 cr will be borne by Centre & Rs 7.40 cr by the State Government. seats in Udaipur division despite losing power in 2018. Of these, 6 of Udaipur’s 8 seats were won by the BJP.

Kataria is currently MLA from Udaipur city seat. It will fall vacant after Kataria’s resignation as the MLA. Despite this, there will probably not be any assembly by-election on this seat because 9-10 months are left for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. Code of conduct may be imposed in last week of September or first week of October and in such a situation, the Election Commission may not conduct by-elections.

Bada Balaji Dham. Mines and Petroleum Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said that CM Gehlot will reach the helipad near Shri Badan Balaji Dham on Mangrol Road at 11 am. After visiting Shri Badanji Balaji, he will have lunch at the temple premises. Gehlot is also scheduled to visit Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Mahotsav. Bhaya said that Govind Singh Dotasra and CP Joshi will accompany the Chief Minister. Three helipads have been made near Balaji. He will leave for Kota from Balaji at 1 pm.
