Jaipur: A six-day programme started at the police headquarters on Thursday ahead of the foundation day of Rajasthan Police on April 16. DGP Umesh Mishra launched the curtain raiser at the headquarters. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will be the chief guest of the main programme on April 16. The programme will be organised at 8:30 am at the Rajasthan Police Academy. A parade ceremony will be organised on the occasion of Foundation Day.
Mishra, while addressing the curtain raiser ceremony said that on the occasion, policemen will be given excellent service marks at the range level, best service marks at the district level. Along with this, DGP discs will be provided by the Inspector General at the range level and District Superintendents of Police at the district level. Senior police officers, including DGP, Director RPA Rajeev Sharma, DGP Training Janga Srinivasa Rao and DGP Civil Rights Dr Ravi Prakash Meharda were present on the occasion.

Ajmer: Guddu Muslim, a prime accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, is reportedly hiding in Ajmer. A team of Uttar Pradesh Police and UP STF was in Ajmer on Thursday after the location of Guddu Muslim was suspected in Ajmer. However, the Ajmer Police did not have any information about the movement of Guddu Muslim. Following the encounter of Asad and Gulam, the sleuths intensified their efforts to nab the Guddu Muslim, who is an expert in bombmaking. —Shubham Jain
Raj Police joins Central agencies to arrest fugitive Amritpal Singh

Jaipur: Rajasthan Police along with other agencies is making all its efforts to nab the most wanted Amritpal Singh. According to inputs from the Central agencies, he may be hiding in the border areas of Rajasthan. Search operations are being conducted in five districts of the state as he may escape to Pakistan through these border areas.
