Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court while giving relief to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has stayed his arrest in a matter wherein, he has been charged with making provocative remarks against a particular community.

The single bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Garg stayed his arrest and directed him to appear before the investigation officer by May 20. Petitioners advocate

Vivek Raj Bajwa and Nishank Madan argued the matter in court and said the case registered against Baba Ramdev is baseless.

Notably, an FIR was registered in the Chauhatan police station against Baba Ramdev for allegedly promoting enmity and outraging religious feelings over his provocative remarks at a meeting of seers in Barmer district. He allegedly made objectionable comments against a community.
