First India Bureau Jaipur: Director of the Tourism Department Dr Rashmi Sharma on Thursday reviewed the progress of budget announcements in Paryatan Bhawan. She interacted with the representatives of the Tourism business on various issues and gave necessary directions to the officials.

“As per the suggestions received, wide pub- licity should be given to promote experiencebased tourism tours, nature walk trails, desert safaris, tracking and food trails across the state. This should be done through social media, departmental websites, and publications so that more and more tourists are attracted towards state tourism,” said Dr Rashmi Sharma.

PoW, ON ITS LAST TOUR OF SEASON, REACHES JAIPUR

Jaipur: The luxury train ‘Palace on Wheels’ on Thursday reached Jaipur for its last tour of this session. The train reached Jaipur with 36 tourists onboard.

“Of these 36 tourists from six countries, ten are from India, five from the United Kingdom, nine from the US, six from Canada, and three each from Australia and France. The foreign guests were given a warm welcome at Gandhi Nagar Railway Station wherein folk artists also gave their performances,” said an official.
