NEARLY 3.25 LAKH YOUTH RECEIVED UNEMPLOYMENT GRANT: SKILL DEPT

In the last 10 years, about 3.25 lakh youth of the State have availed unemployment allowance. In the previous govt, from Dec 2013 to Dec 31, 2018, about 1,56,791 eligible candidates were given unemployment allowance of Rs 121.60 crore. “From Jan 1, 2022 to Jan 15, 2023, about 1,67,937 eligible candidates have done internships in various govt departments and given unemployment allowance,” the Skill Planning and Entrepreneurship Department in response to a question by GC Kataria

Jaipur: Satish Poonia raised question regarding the fire incidents in the state from January 2021 to December 2022. He asked will the government conduct an inquiry into these incidents and present the results? He also asked what kind of help was given to those affected by the fire and whether the government was taking any action for quick prevention of incidents in future.

DoP to probe Vet Univ ‘recruitments’

Jaipur: The Animal Husbandry Department has stopped the recruitment of assistant professors in Rajasthan’s only Veterinary University being done by the university administration over irregularities and has issued orders to constitute a high-level inquiry committee. Although interviews have been done, the inquiry committee, prima facie, found irregularities during the in- vestigation. Now the Personnel Department will set up a committee for a high-level inquiry into the matter.

Ajmer: The Ajmer Discom has recently earned a revenue of Rs 33.90 crore from disputes that were settled during National Lok Adalat on Feb 11. Officials informed that a total of 16,108 cases were disposed of during the Lok Adalat.

“Of these 16,108 cases, 14,015 cases were related to the disconnection of electricity connection and 2,093 cases were related to theft or misuse of electricity.

Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Department Minister Lalchand Kataria sought opinion from the DoP and after the recommendation of DoP, a high-level inquiry committee will be formed. Animal Husbandry Secretary Krishna Kunal said that the committee will soon investigate.

MINISTER RAJENDRA YADAV FACES FLAK FOR ‘COLLEGES IN INN’ ANSWER

Raj Farmers Debt Relief Act Draft to be out soon

Jaipur: Principal Secretary (Cooperative) Shreya Guha on Tuesday took a meeting of department officials regarding the implementation of budget announcement 2023-24 and said that a draft of the Rajasthan Farmers Debt Relief Act will be prepared soon and a committee will be formed at the earliest for the same.

“Small farmers, landless labourers and farmers of the weaker section are facing difficulties due to this situation. To provide a permanent solution to this problem, the Farmers’ Debt Relief Act will be introduced. This will ease the burden of farmers and stop the auction of their land. A debt relief commission will also be constituted under the Act,” said Guha.
