run for cleanliness in Jagatpura

Jaipur: An 11km cleanliness marathon was organised by Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Greater) in Jagatpura on Tuesday. The Marathon witnessed participation of elderly, women, youths and school students. The run was held from high tension chauraha to Akshay Patra in Jagatpura area.

JMCG Mayor Dr Somya said that youths are the best messengers of society. “If the youth and school students spread the message, it is sure the city will be clean and beautiful. The employees of the corporation are actively working and action is being taken against those who are not doing so,” she added.
Mahmood Khan was given a prize of Rs 21000 for securing first position, Manish Yadav stood second and was awarded Rs 11,000 and Dinesh Gurjar was awarded Rs 5100 for third prize.
Jaipur: More than 10,000 gallstones were removed by the Department of Surgery at ESI Model Hospital, by performing a laparoscopic operation of the gall bladder of a 50-year-old woman. This operation was performed under the leadership of Dr Anil Tripathi, Head of the Department. The woman was referred to ESI Hospital after complaining of ab- magic vehicles. After approval, permits will be issued to vehicles on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, JCTSL should have an important role in public transport but due to non-availability of buses, it is not adequate enough.

SHO suspended over abetment to suicide of a youth Doctors
Jaipur : JDA commissioner Ravi Jain along with other officers and representatives of agencies involved in the construction of Jhotwara RoB visited the project site on Tuesday to review the progress of the work. He said that the work of the JDA is getting the Jhotwara RoB constructed with speed.
The inspection began from Khatipura side towards Kalwar road, Panipech intersection. He made a personal request to the stakeholders to remove the structures, which are obstructing the con- struction, with mutual understanding. The JDC directed the officers to expedite the work of the project and complete it within the stipulated time limit.
Jaipur: Private doctors and civil society have come face to face on the Right To Health Bill. Private doctors have been opposing the bill and approached Raj Bhavan seeking the governor’s intervention in the matter.
On the other hand, civil society activists opened a front against doctors while terming the decision of the private doctors to boycott government schemes as unethical. They said that the doctors are blackmailing, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The activists said that if this behavior of the doctors continues, then the public will also come on the road. Welcoming the decision of the govt, the activist said that the decision of the private doctors to boycott the government schemes is unethical and the doctors have been opposing the bill and blackmailing the system just for their own gain, which will not be tolerated.
Jaipur (FIB) : SHO of Bhatta Basti Police Station, Hukum Singh, was suspended on Tuesday after his name surfaced in a suicide case. Notably, a resident of Shastri Nagar, identified as Anand Singh, committed suicide by jumping before a train in Khatipura area.
“A suicide note was recovered from the pocket of the deceased wherein he made allegations against Bhatta Basti SHO and other people for pressurising him over possession of a disputed plot,” a source said. Following the FIR, the SHO was suspended.
