BJP protests at PCC over Randhawa statement

Jaipur: BJP workers held a demonstration outside the PCC office on Tuesday over the statement of Congress party’s Rajasthan incharge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. The protest was led by BJP Jaipur President Raghav Sharma.

Carrying the BJP flag in their hands, the workers were shouting slogans of Narendra Modi Zindabad and Congress Murdabad. As soon as the workers turned towards PCC from Sansar Chandra Road, the police stopped them.

State local bodies directed to issue leases only after RERA registration

Jaipur: Showing strictness on violation of law, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has instructed all Development Authorities, Urban Improvement Trusts and DLB in the state to put a mandatory condition of RERA registration at the time of layout plan approval of plotted schemes.
RERA said that only after this, leases should be issued by the local bodies.

Select panel to finalise draft of Right to Health Bill

Jaipur: The meeting of the Select Committee on the Right to Health Bill was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Health minister Parsadi Lal Meena. Deputy LoP Rajendra Rathore, Dr Jitendra Singh, Rohit Bohra, Kalicharan Saraf and other public representatives attended the meeting. It was decided to finalise the draft of the Select Committee Bill and consensus was made on some amendments also. The meeting lasted for about 51 minutes and another meeting will be held on Wednesday at 5 pm after the members study the main points.
Kataria was replying to the debate on the demands for grants of Agriculture Department and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department in the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. After discussion, the House passed the demands for grants of Rs 37.48 billion of the Agriculture department and Rs 14.55 billion of the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries department.

LSG Minister Shanti Dhariwal made it clear in the Assembly on Tuesday that 24 Indira Rasois each are approved in Municipal Corporation Kota North and Kota South areas. Of these, at present all 24 Indira Rasois are operational in Municipal Corporation Kota North and 19 Indira Rasois are operational in Kota MC South. A total of 7 Indira Rasois are being operated in Ladpura assembly constituency. Apart from this, no proposal to operate new Indira Rasoi in Ladpura assembly constituency is currently under consideration. He said that due to a stay order given by the High Court in Writ Petition 17248/2022 on December 1, 2022, it is not possible to operate five Indira Rasois approved for MC Kota South falling in Ladpura assembly constituency.

Upen-led delegation meets CMO officials

Jaipur: A six-member delegation led by State President of Rajasthan Berozgar Ekikrat Mahasangh, Upen Yadav, on Tuesday met Principal Secretary to CM Ashok Gehlot, Kuldeep Ranka, and Secretary to CM, Aarti Dogra, in CMO regarding their various pending demands. After the meeting, Upen Yadav said that it has been agreed to organise a meeting of the delegation of unemployed youths every month with the officials related to recruitment at the Chief Secretary or DOP level to resolve the problems of the demands of the youths.
“There will be a meeting with the Finance Secretary after March 17 regarding Panchayatiraj JEN recruitment. Similarly, candidates selected for VDO recruitment will be allotted districts and appointment will be given soon,” said Upen Yadav.
Discussions were also held regarding the CHO recruitment exam.
