2 ARRESTED IN CONNECTION OF FIRING INCIDENT BEFORE RAJE’S ARRIVAL
Ajmer: The Vijayanagar police team has arrested one of the accused Shivraj Gurjar in the aerial firing incident before the arrival of before former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at Kharwa. To arrest the accused three teams were constituted by the District Superintendent of Police. Shivraj Gurjar was with the main accused Suresh Gurjar at the time of the firing. Bhilwara: An elderly couple was crushed to death in Bhilwara on Saturday after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding trailer, police said. Police informed the deceased has been identified as Ravtaram Gacha (62) and his wife Amba Devi. “The incident occurred near Suwana Pond on Saturday morning when Ravtaram, his wife Amba Devi and grandson Vinay alias Sagar (30) were heading towards Bhilwara on a motorcycle. Suddenly, a speeding trailer hit them from behind.

The temple located in Aman Colony of Vigyan Nagar area opens only on Maha Shivratri, due to which, it witnessed a huge rush of devotees on this day. Sources informed that the temple falls under a sensitive area and hence, every year, police personnel are deployed outside the temple on Maha Shivratri. “Senior police officials including DSP, SHOs from several police stations and other policemen were present in and around the temple. Devotees visited in large numbers and offered their prayers at Amleshwar Mahadev Temple. The temple opens only once a year on Maha Shivratri,” said a source.

However, when his wife died during treatment at Kota Medical College, the accused fled. After this, the woman’s family registered a case. The incident took place in the Bamorikala area in Mangrol. As per the police, on Feb 17, information was received from the police post located at Kota Medical College Hospital that a woman Sheela Bai (27) was admitted to the hospital. There was a bullet found in her body and have died after the operation. On this information, the police reached the Medical College Hospital in Kota, where it came to light that her husband Deepak Prajapat (31) had brought the woman Sheela Bai to the hospital. Investigation so far has revealed that Deepak Prajapat shot his wife on February 16.
