Sagwara municipality completes two yrs; Dhariwal inaugurates devp works

On the occasion of completion of two years of tenure of Sagwara Municipality, the inauguration ceremony of various development works was held on Sunday. The chief guest was UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal and the President of the programme was Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat.

Cabinet Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Minister of State for Tribal Area Development Arjun Singh Bamnia, former MP Tarachand Bhagora, social worker Dinesh Khodania, Sagwara Municipality Chairman Narendra Khodania etc. attended the ceremony as special guests.

Dhariwal said that the face of Sagwada has changed during the two years tenure of the present municipality. He said that Rs 119 crore has been approved for the integrated water supply and sewerage project in Sagwara city.

Dhariwal said that the picture of the five ponds of Sagwara city is going to change in the coming days.

Ministers Ramlal Jat and Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya also addressed the gathering on this occasion. Malviya said that seeing the development works in Kota, it seems that one has come to Dubai and the same level of development works will be seen in Sagwara in coming days.

MINISTER DHARIWAL REACHES KOTA FOR SEVEN-DAY VISIT

Kota: UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal on Sunday reached Kota on his sevenday visit. He was received by officials of district and police administration and public representatives at the airport. The minister took part in the inauguration ceremony of the development works in Sagwara of Dungarpur district and later reached airport by helicopter. SP Sharad Chaudhary, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation (North) Anurag Bhargava, Secretary of UIT Rajesh Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Rajesh Daga, former UIT Chairman Ravindra Tyagi, Dr. Zafar Mohammad, Shivkant Nandwana, Rajendra Sankhala were also present on this occasion. Dhariwal will stay in Kota till February 26.
