CM SANCTIONS `243.40 CR FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGES & ROBs

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of a financial sanction of Rs 243.40 crore for the construction of various bridges and ROBs in the state.

According to the proposal, ROB will be built at the railway gate located at Jambheshwar Nagar on Jodhpur to Phalodi State Highway-61 at Lohawat, Jodhpur. A high-level bridge will come up on State Highway-122 Banas river between Bhuri hill and Hadauti in Sapotra, Karauli.
Bridges will also be built on Gundolav lake in Kishangarh, Ajmer, on Abapura to Jharnia Boria Palswani road in Banswara, on Sarmathura road drain in Dholpur, and other areas of the state.

`726.36 CR APPROVED FOR STRENGTHENING OF ROADS `42.63 CR SANCTIONED FOR DEVELOPING RURAL ROADS
Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given financial approval of Rs 726.36 crore for 71 different works like construction, repair and upgradation of roads in the state. With this decision, the movement of the people of the area will be easy. Of these, 9 works in Jaipur, 7 in Bharatpur, 5 in Sikar, 4 each in Alwar, Baran, Sawai Madhopur and Udaipur, 3 each in Karauli, Nagaur, Pali and Hanumangarh, 2 each in Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jalore, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner and Bhilwara, and 1 each in Jodhpur, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Churu, Jhalawar, Barmer, Bundi, Ajmer, Dausa and Tonk. It is worth men tioning that the state government is constructing state highways, mega high ways, district roads and rural roads to strengthen the road infrastructure in the state. In this sequence, in the budget of 2023-24, Gehlot announced the construction and upgradation works of roads.
40-YEAR-OLD MAN DIES AFTER FALLING INTO CHEMICAL FACTORY IN BARMER
Barmer: A 40-year-old man died after falling into a chemical at a factory in Balotra. However, he was immediately taken to the hospital but doctors declared him dead. The deceased was identified as Babulal Meghwal, a resident of Bithuja in Balotra. According to the police, Meghwal was working in a chemical factory near the CTP plant in Balotra. On Monday Babulal was working in the factory, in the meantime, he accidentally fell into the chemical. However, other workers who were present pulled him out from the chemical and immediately took him to the hospital but he died on the way.
14 KIDS FALL ILL AFTER HAVING MID-DAY MEAL
Rajsamand: Fourteen students of a govt upper primary school in Nainpuria village of Rajsamand district fell ill due to food poisoning after having the mid-day meal on Monday. Fourteen students were brought to RK District Hospital for treatment where three boys were admitted and 11 were discharged after first-aid. According to the information, after having the food in the school, 14 children fell ill and complained of stomachache and other issues. The teachers called the relatives of the children and took all the sick children to the hospital.
