Mumbai (ANI): Mumbai Police have arrested an Italian woman passenger for allegedly creating a ruckus mid-air on a Vistara Airline flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai.

The passenger identified as Paola Perruccio was arrested by Sahar police early Monday morning after the flight landed in Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. She was later given bail by a court. As per police, the woman who was reportedly inebriated created a ruckus insisting that she be seated in business class despite being booked in economy. She also took off some of her clothes and walked up and down the aisle in a partially naked state assaulting crew members.

New Delhi: A man was arrested in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district for allegedly hiding gold biscuits, weighing over 900 grams and valued at over Rs 54 lakh, in his body cavity. The accused, Madai Mandal, was hiding eight gold biscuits inside his stomach. The weight of the gold biscuits, which were seized by the BSF, was 932 grams and their estimated market value was Rs 54,78,855.
