MHADA has denied his allegations. Another issue is the application that we submitted for regularization. I asked MHADA how unauthorized constructions are determined. Any construction outside the original structure is considered as unauthorized construction. But MHADA does not have a copy of the original construction plan. If I don’t get their maps in eight days, I will file a claim against MHADA and also go to court. If the regularization application is not approved within 60 days, it is approved as DMP. Hence our application is considered accepted. As these buildings are going for redevelopment, the said construction has been removed. But a false report has been given that no decisive action has been taken so far. I have demanded action against the officer who issued the wrong notice. I will go to court against MHADA,” he said.

“MHADA has written to me stating that it has withdrawn the notice issued on 27th June 2019 at MHADA office. Both these things mean that Kirit Somaiya is making such allegations to defame me.
