Aleppo (ANI): An Indian Army team deployed as part of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) on Wednesday delivered relief material to Aleppo, Syria. The material included rations and medicine from the government of India as well as contributions from the international community. Under ‘Operation Dost’, Union Health Ministry provided life-saving humanitarian medical Assistance to quake-hit Turkey and Syria. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said, “India is helping Syria and Turkey with the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

Army Officer Develops Tool To Track Troops

Ankara (ANI): Indian Army’s ‘SANCHAR’, a network-independent, real time tracking and messaging module is being used in Turkey where Indian Army teams have been deployed to provide relief to the local population. The system, which can be used by all defence and paramilitary forces in operation to track team members and assets in battlefield areas, officials said has been developed by an Army team including Captain Karan Singh and Sub PG Sapre. Captain Singh is deployed in Turkey for disaster relief operations. SANCHAR is compatible with all map formats and GPS constellations. It has a compact size and is lightweight. The system has a communication range of 1.5-2 km and a battery life of 6 to 7 hours.

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka on Wednesday in connection with two cases of blasts in Coimbatore and Mangaluru, its spokesperson said.

The searches led to the seizure of a large number of digital devices and Rs 4 lakh in cash, the spokesperson said, adding further investigations in these two cases are on. The searches were carried out at 40 places -- 32 in connection with the Coimbatore car bomb blast and eight linked to the Mangaluru blast.

One of the cases relates to a bomb blast in a car laden with explosives in front of a Temple in Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.

However, it is now specifically prohibiting the use of ChatGPT inside board exam halls.

“The use of Artificial Intelligence-based ChatGPT has been prohibited in the upcoming Class 10, 12 board exams by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),” officials said. Mobile, ChatGPT and other electronic items will not be allowed in the examination hall,” according to instructions issued by the board ahead of the papers. The central education board warns students against the use of unfair means to pass exams.

Magisterial inquiry ordered into death of mother-daughter

Kanpur: A Magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the death of a mother-daughter duo after a fire broke out during an anti-encroachment drive.

UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya assured that the accused would be arrested and the culprits won't be spared. Meanwhile, the mother-daughter killed in a fire during the demolition drive were cremated today.

"Govt has assured us that our demands will be met. He said Rs 1cr, govt job, residential quarter and a land strip would be given to each of us (2 brothers) and lifetime pension for my father," said the woman's son.
