Case Study - Chancerygate
Client
Chancerygate, the UK’s largest multiunit industrial property developer and asset manager.
Brief
Assess the current energy performance of 17 units across two client portfolios. Arrange Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) where relevant to futureproof the assets – to meet current and future Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
Help our client meet its sustainability objectives.
Results
We evaluated the current energy performance and carbon footprint of both portfolios and prioritised the assets for future investment - to ensure regulatory compliance and minimise the risk of stranding.
Strategic recommendations were also made (for building improvements) to ensure that they transition to (a minimum) EPC Level B.
Roof-mounted solar photovoltaics (PV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points were also considered where applicable.
