Brief

Advise on the negotiation and agreement of the strategic land Promotion and Development Agreement with a national developer (Stoford) for the promotion and delivery of 130 acres to the north of Stafford.

Results

Following identification of Pets at Home, a FTSE 250 retailer requiring a new 670,000 sq ft national distribution centre, a planning application was submitted and subsequently consented. We negotiated and agreed the land drawdown on behalf of our client.

The development of the facility has been delivered with funding from Tesco Pension Fund and includes the construction of a major new roundabout on the A34 dual carriageway providing further access to future development.
