Choosing the best approach to deliver your sale We generally recommend one of three methods to deliver your sale, a private treaty sale, a sale by informal tender or an auction. We can also discuss offering your property for sale on a discreet off-market basis. Whichever method we recommend, our goal is always the same; to deliver a sale that reflects your requirements and to generate the highest selling price.

Private Treaty

The majority of private house sales are delivered by the private treaty method. This tried and tested route allows time to fully search the market and secure the best buyer and then to agree a timetable that will lead to the exchange and completion of your sale.

Auctions

We regularly conduct successful public auctions in the traditional way. We also use online auctions which are a highly effective and transparent way to deliver a sale in a fixed time frame. The online approach encourages participation, entices well-funded buyers, stimulates bidding and can achieve excellent selling prices.

Informal Tender

An informal tender sale is appropriate where a property is likely to generate competitive interest and we need an effective way to draw the sale together whilst producing the best possible result for you and without alienating potential purchasers.
