The new Fisher House at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center will support both military service members and veterans. The center cares for nearly 75,000 patients per year, including an estimated 40,000 Navy recruits. The 16-suite North Chicago Fisher House will offer up to 5,840 nights of free lodging, saving families an estimated $1.2 million in lodging and transportation each year.

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital.
Donors who contribute $25,000 or more to the construction of a Fisher House will receive the following benefits:
• Invitations to house celebration events
• Recognition in Fisher House Foundation’s annual report
• Eligible for social media recognition upon approval
Donors who contribute $100,000 or more will be recognized as follows, in addition to benefits listed above:
• Permanent listing on bronze recognition plaque displayed at the entrance of the newly constructed Fisher House
• Special recognition with the prestigious Patriot Award at the house celebration
• Representation and recognition at house celebration events
