Spotting Eagles in Winter The Sullivan Catskills is the second largest nesting ground in the United States for American Bald Eagles. Sightings of these beautiful creatures are most prominent along the Bashakill or National Park’s Upper Wild and Scenic Delaware Rivers. They live near water, so they can readily access fish-their primary source of food. They are easier to spot than you may think! Their white feathered heads and prominent wing span are what set these majestic animals apart from other birds. 800. 882.CATS
