EXPLORE NANTUCKET Conservation Guide
The views on Nantucket are one-of-a-kind and that’s due to more than just geography... The island has worked hard for decades to preserve and protect Nantucket’s open spaces, waterfront access and ecological resources. There are numerous organizations on island that help make this possible and we thank them for all their work so that we have breathtaking views for generations to come.
Nantucket Land Bank 508.228.7240 | nantucketlandbank.org
Nantucket Land Council 508.228.2818 | nantucketlandcouncil.org

Nantucket Conservation Foundation 508.228.2884 | nantucketconservation.org Working to help preserve Nantucket’s character, the NCF offers property experiences, scientific research and maintains areas of the island for public education and passive recreation purposes. Linda Loring Nature Foundation 508.325.0873 | llnf.org The LLNF founder, Linda Loring was a land conservationist and Nantucket enthusiast. She purchased multiple parcels of land since 1957, eventually connecting them into a 270-acre tract which is now a wildlife and plant sanctuary right off Madaket Road!
The Trustees of Reservations 508.228.0006 | thetrustees.org The Trustees work to preserve properties of scenic, historic and ecological value. On Nantucket this includes the Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge. Walking tours are available, as well as Oversand Vehicle Permits for the more adventurous that wish to drive-on to Great Point & Coatue.
