The Fishers Disability Roundtable and the Fishers Arts Council invite all artists ages high school to adults to submit artwork that reflects the 2017 March Disability Awareness Month theme which emphasizes that people with disabilities are people first. They are co-workers, classmates and neighbors who want to be included in their communities - just like everyone else. The final pole banners will be 31 inches tall by 26 inches wide. Design concepts will be accepted with the inclusion of sample art work. Please submit questions to Cecilia Coble, Chairman of the Fishers ADA Roundtable at coblec@fishers.in.us. Although smaller in size than the summer market, the Winter Farmers Market features local produce, baked goods, and other artisan items.Residents are encouraged to arrive early to snag their favorite items!

NEW 106TH STREET INTERCHANGE OPEN The new interchange at I-69 and 106th Street opened last month. The interchange intends to reduce congestion at existing I-69 interchanges at 96th and 116th streets, increase traffic safety in the area and provide additional interstate access at 106th Street. The improvement is also part of the City’s plan to open up greater economic development opportunities along the I-69 Corporate Corridor.
CONSTITUTION 101 Constitution 101 returns to Saxony Hall this February. The course will be held each Wednesday between Feb. 22 through March 29. Participation is free, but registration is required. “Constitution 101 isn't about answers so much as it is about the questions that were asked then, and need to be asked now, said Clark Henkel, a participant of last year’s Constitution 101 class. The class is sponsored by Indiana State Bar Association – Business Law Section, Center for Civic Education, City of Fishers, Scott and Brenda Berkel and Mike and Cecilia Coble.
