State of the City MAYOR FADNESS TO SHARE FIVE IDEAS THAT WILL TRANSFORM FISHERS IN 2017
On Wednesday, March 15, Mayor Scott Fadness will deliver his third annual State of the City address to an audience of local community and business leaders. The address will be the main event of the OneZone Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon. In his first State of the City, Mayor Fadness cast his long-term vision for a smart, vibrant, entrepreneurial city. Each year, that vision continues to progress. It has set the stage for strong economic growth for our community. At last year’s State of the City address, Mayor Fadness announced the move of two corporate headquarters to Fishers – STANLEY Security and Braden Business Systems. Job commitments announced within the first six weeks of 2016 exceeded all those made in 2015. This year, the vision will unfold even more as Mayor Fadness will share five exciting ideas that will transform Fishers. He is also expected to share progress the City has made in the past year, as well as news on new community projects. We’ll livestream via Facebook and Periscope so you can watch the address in real-time. Be sure to “like” Fishers Indiana Government on Facebook and follow @FishersIN on Periscope to be notified when the live broadcast begins. We’ll also include a recap of the address in next month’s issue of Think Fishers.
