Mapping The Tube: 1863 – 2023
LONDON UNDERGROUND’S ICONIC DESIGN EVOLUTION
The Map House, 25 October - 30 November 2024. Private view: 24 October
The Map House presents their new exhibition Mapping the Tube: 1863-2023 - exploring the evolution of London’s Tube system and the iconic London Underground map over 160 years.
The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see and purchase hand-drawn and annotated manuscripts by Harry Beck on the 50th anniversary of his death. His 1933 pocket map influenced the design of transport maps worldwide and is an instantly recognisable design icon. The exhibition will include the most significant collection of Beck manuscripts ever offered for sale.
Highlights include: a one-of-a-kind draft copy of Harry Beck’s first Underground map, annotated by Beck and his predecessor Fred Stingemore, which highlights some of the tricky design questions he had to overcome, such as whether to use the official name of ‘Willesden Green (New Station)’ or stick with a simplified
‘Willesden Junction’; the resulting exceedingly rare 1 st Edition Underground Poster (1933), of which only 5 copies of the original 2,000 are known; and a unique, unfinished sketch from 1950 drawn in coloured pencil showing a proposed new layout for the District Line branch to Richmond.
The Arrival of the Tube
The Metropolitan Railway opened the world’s first underground passenger railway in London in January 1863 to create a route for the developing commuting population. By the end of 1863, several of London’s leading cartographers, sensing a commercial opportunity, published detailed folding maps illustrating the railway proposals before the House of Lords Select Committee. On display will be James Wyld’s New Map of London (1863), signalling the
advent of the London Underground network, alongside The Improved District Railway Map of London (1880), one of the earliest Underground maps issued to the public.
In the early 20th century, the London Underground was losing money, due to complaints of overcrowding, uncleanliness, and tardiness. Frank Pick, the Underground’s Publicity Manager, commissioned great artists of the day to create works that encouraged Londoners to associate the Underground with access to leisure activities.
“Mapping the Tube will also explore the extraordinary life and work of Harry Beck, the designer of the 1933 London Underground map”
Map that will be exhibited at The Map House is the larger, rarer edition created to hang in stations rather than to be purchased as a souvenir.
Examples featured in the exhibition include To the Theatres (1934), a striking poster advertising travel to the West End by Cecil Walter Bacon, and the Wonderground Map of London (1914) by Macdonald Gill, a whimsical caricature map of London, so popular with the public that it is often credited with saving the Underground from bankruptcy. The Wonderground
Harry Beck and London’s iconic Tube map
Mapping the Tube will also explore the extraordinary life and work of Harry Beck, the designer of the 1933 London Underground map, voted the second-best British design of the 20th century, for which he was paid just £5 and five shillings.
Beck, a trained engineer, conceived the design whilst drawing an electrical circuit diagram, revolutionising the way transport maps were designed by not placing the stations geographically as previous maps had. He believed that Underground passengers were not concerned with geographical accuracy but were more interested in how to get from one station to another and where to change trains. Beck’s clear, accessible and aesthetic design was so successful that it became the template for transport maps worldwide.
Despite the map’s overwhelming success, Beck’s contribution was largely forgotten until 2001, 27 years after his death, when the following acknowledgement was added to the map - “This diagram is an evolution of the original design conceived in 1931 by Harry Beck”. You can still read this in the bottom left corner of all London Tube maps today. Visitors to the exhibition can see an example of the Tube Map from every year from 1933 to 2023, charting its complete evolution from Beck’s globally influential and groundbreaking work.

‘EVERYTHING’S POSSIBLE’
WITH POWDER BYRNE
“The team were absolutely excellent, with a uniformly positive and friendly attitude – highly impressive. Others had told us what to expect and that their service was unrivalled, and they did not disappoint.”
Rory Byrne founded Powder Byrne in 1985 because he wanted to provide something better for clients looking for luxury holiday solutions with dedicated personal service. What started in Switzerland has developed into a global business focused on providing the highest quality, flexibility and service for a wide range of clients: from individuals to families, to groups and corporates.
Powder Byrne specialises in luxury skiing across hand-picked resorts in the Swiss Alps, the Italian Dolomites and Japan with exclusive ski programmes and resort services tailored to each member of the family or group.
The company has come a long way since it was founded in Grindelwald in 1985 but has never lost sight of its founding ethos and genuine commitment to the best personal service. Whether skiing in the mountains, relaxing in one of the summer resorts, or setting out on a new adventure in Japan – Powder Byrne’s infectious ‘Everything’s’ Possible’ attitude is at the heart of every interaction.
Powder Byrne has a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude when it comes to delivering exclusive services and creating unique experiences for their clients. As Ben Woodbridge, Powder Byrne’s Head of Delivery explains, “Our professional teams treat you the way we would expect to be treated, always putting your needs at the center of our planning. Our bespoke approach to luxury allows us
“We
had an excellent week, everything ran incredibly smoothly. All of the team were friendly, sociable and highly professional. This was very reassuring for us when leaving our children with the Yeti Club team for their ski days as we joined the Powder Byrne adult ski guides.”
to make sure everything is tailored to each client’s precise needs.”
These days, many companies promise exceptional service, but few are prepared or capable of committing to what it takes to really deliver that promise. Powder Byrne’s service relies on building close rapport and trust before you travel. The expert Client Concierge team will invest time understanding your objectives and the needs of each travelling. When you arrive in your chosen resort, everything is ready and waiting for you, as the Powder Byrne in-resort team has been briefed and prepared all your arrangements. This means you can trust the delivery of a seamless experience time and again.
Powder Byrne’s award-winning children’s programmes offer a range of expertly designed, fun and engaging experiences for the whole family to enjoy in the summer and winter. These programmes range from 4-month-old childcare, through to gap year courses and extend to adult offerings. Powder Byrne steps up the level of training for their teams by providing expert childcare training partnered with Worldwide Kids, the world’s leading provider of family and childcare services to the luxury hospitality sector.
One of the longest running and famed children’s ski programmes, is the Powder Byrne Yeti club. Providing expert ski instruction in a safe and fun environment for children ages 4 to 9 years old, with a qualified ski instructor and dedicated Powder Byrne children’s staff member for every group – they
boast the best child to staff ski group ratio in the mountains. Powder Byrne also offers a Yeti Primer programme for eager 3-year-olds, with a gentler morning introduction to the slopes and return for fun in the afternoon to one of their exclusive pb Crèche.
Powder Byrne has a range of unique offerings across the world, and not just in the winter season. Powder Byrne also has exclusive access to its partnered private Finca and polo club in Sotogrande, in the south of Spain. Where groups and families can learn to ride, play polo or just enjoy the Andalusian outback.
“Looking back through the 40 years of Powder Byrne, it was right to place ‘Everything’s Possible’ and exceptionalism at the heart of what the company can achieve. Whether it was arranging a breakfast with celebrity chef Anton Mosimann on the top of the mountain, or famously evacuating all Powder Byrne families via helicopter from avalanches in Grindelwald in 1999, to simply ensuring each client holiday was consistently better than the last. This is still the standards the company sets itself today.” For more information on Powder Byrne and inspiration for luxury winter and summer experiences contact an expert travel consultant on 0208 246 5300, or visit powderbyrne.com
“For us it was really relaxing knowing our children were having a wonderful time on the slopes and their skiing would certainly improve. The adult ski guiding was phenomenal, with well trained guides taking us to the best slopes and the best tables on the mountain at lunch. It is difficult to fully appreciate without experiencing the service how much added value there is with the Powder Byrne set up.”
“We had an exceptional holiday. All the Powder Byrne
team were fantastic, and the Yeti and pb Creche provision exceeded our expectations. The children could not have had a better time or been in better hands. The resort manager and team have been incredible.”
Celebrating 40 years of original skiing and defining luxury travel
After four decades of delivering unforgettable experiences, building longstanding partnerships, and helping families create lasting memories, Rory Byrne proudly reflects on its remarkable journey and looks forward to an exciting future.
“I founded Powder Byrne in 1985 at the age of 23... but perhaps the story really started years earlier with my father.
In 1934, Vincent Byrne won the Morel Cup - a ski race in Chateau-d’Oex, Switzerland. He was 26 years old, and had taught himself to ski by walking up on skins, and racing down on the basic wooden planks called “skis”.
His passion for skiing then followed him throughout his life. As a World War II Spitfire pilot and POW of Stalag Luft III, he still managed to make a pair of skis out of wooden lengths to practice around the camp. He eventually ended his RAF service as Wing Commander.
As we were growing up, he shared his passion for the sport with me and my 7 older siblings in Grindelwald. Staying in a caravan site, in the middle of winter, we all learnt to ski from a young age, all taught by my father.
So by 1985, I was a good skier! During my university years, I took
friends skiing, showing them the best places for “Powder”, and the best places to “Dine”. This was the start of what we now call our “Powder Byrne ski guiding programme”.
Another benefit of my skiing upbringing was the relationships built up with great lifelong friends particularly in Grindelwald, all of whom share a similar passion for skiing and the mountains.
Whilst quietly self-confident at the time, I never imagined that Powder Byrne would be celebrating its 40th Anniversary with my son, Edward Byrne, leading the next generations of skiers to come.
I am immensely proud of the incredible people in the company who have helped us achieve where we are today. Our oldest partnerships are as old as the company. We have over 50 Powder Byrne married team member couples. We have introduced our summer and our adventure programmes, built our business in Japan, added a private flights programme, created properties in Switzerland, and a private Polo Club in Spain.
To all the people that have skied with Powder Byrne over the last 40 years, and to all those who have joined Powder Byrne on our journey, I would like to say a heartfelt, thank you for the trust and belief you have always shown in us and I am looking forward to the future.” Rory Byrne
SHAPARAK KHORSANDI: SCATTERBRAIN
Blackheath Halls, Sunday 27 October 8pm
Having reassessed her life through the prism of an ADHD diagnosis in last year’s funny and touching memoir, one of Britain’s most beloved and most scatterbrained stand-ups lets you back into her mind (warning: it’s cluttered in there).
Among other things, this show will be a love-letter to letterwriting, a trip back through her early years as a comic and womanabout-town, and a whirlwind tour of a hilarious, sometimes frantic brain. At least, it might be. With one of the UK’s most delightfully shambolic comics, raconteurs and writers, all that’s guaranteed is –as ever – a night of memorable entertainment.
Although it might not be remembered by Shaparak herself; that’s part of how ADHD works. And actually, we’ll probably check in with her in case she’s decided to start a career as an antique furniture expert instead. The diagnosis has helped Shaparak make sense of many aspects of her behaviour and personality, as movingly chronicled in her warmly-received book ‘Scatterbrain’. In this national tour of the same name, a woman who deserves the tag of national treasure uses her newly liberated mind as a springboard for a comedic rollercoaster ride.
Shaparak Khorsandi is a hugely loved performer and writer, a
British Comedy Award nominee, an I’m A Celebrity contestant, author of fiction and non-fiction, star of ‘Live At The Apollo’ and multiple radio shows, and many more things besides.

THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON
25 October 2024 – 21 April 2025 at the Design Museum. In partnership with Harvey Nichols
The Design Museum has revealed for the first time the highlights of its major autumn exhibition on the exceptional career of director Tim Burton.
From October, visitors to the museum in west London will be invited to step into The World of Tim Burton and to journey through five remarkable decades of creativity. Today the famed and fascinating objects which will be seen are announced — from Tim Burton’s earliest unrealized projects to his most recent film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024).
Over 600 incredible items will be brought together in the exhibition to chart the evolution of Burton’s unique design aesthetic. Objects are loaned from Tim Burton’s extensive personal archives, key film studio archives including Paramount, Amazon MGM Studios, and Warner Bros., and the private collections of Burton’s collaborators. Many items have never been on public display in the UK before.
Highlights will include hundreds of Burton’s expressionistic sketches and drawings that he has created prolifically since childhood. These will be seen alongside props, set designs, and costumes from his iconic films, including Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costume from 1992’s Batman Returns, and the black and white striped dress from 1999’s Sleepy Hollow, worn by Christina Ricci.
The World of Tim Burton will showcase Burton’s remarkable output, with over 18 of his films individually spotlighted in the exhibition. It will celebrate the creative processes behind some of the most significant movies of the past five decades, including Beetlejuice (1988), Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005).
The exhibition comes to London after a hugely successful decade-long world tour that has seen it visit 14 cities in 11 countries since 2014. Yet not only will this be the first and only time it will be seen in the UK, it will also be the very final time the exhibition will be staged. For this very special homecoming – to Tim Burton’s adopted home city – it has been specially adapted, expanded, and physically reimagined for the Design Museum.
Visitors will for the first time be able to take a deeper look at the director’s work by seeing it through a design lens. With the addition of over 90 new objects to the exhibition, this iteration of the show will examine Burton’s hands-on and design-led approach to filmmaking.
A major aspect will also be the
spotlighting of his long-term collaborations with designers working across costume, set and production design. This includes the renowned costume designer Colleen Atwood, production designer Rick Heinrichs, architect and designer Anton Furst, and the awardwinning puppet makers and stop-motion animators Mackinnon and Saunders.

RM SOTHEBY’S LONDON TO BRIGHTON VETERAN CAR RUN 2024
CELEBRATING 120 YEARS OF THE LADIES’ AUTOMOBILE CLUB SUNDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2024
This year’s RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, will be celebrating the milestone 120th anniversary of the genesis of The Ladies’ Automobile Club.
At the dawn of the 20th century, a number of Britain’s prominent society women sought to form a club in which to share their interest in motoring, as the existing clubs did not admit women. With Lady Cecil Scott Montagu as its driving force The Ladies’ Automobile Club was conceived, and by 1904 had more than 300 members with its headquarters at Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair.
The Royal Automobile Club, which has organised the revered Veteran Car Run since 1930, was also integral in the early success of The Ladies’ Automobile Club. In the summer of 1904, it held its first outdoor event in the shadows of what is now the Royal Automobile Club’s clubhouse on Pall Mall. Over 56 vehicles – including electric, steam and petrol-powered pioneers assembled at the Athenaeum Club on Waterloo Place and Carlton House Terrace.
The colourful cavalcade then drove via Pall Mall and Hyde Park to the Ranelagh Club in Barn Elms for afternoon tea. So striking was the spectacle of so many elegantly dressed
women driving en masse, that the King and Queen watched them pass Buckingham Palace.
Now, 120 years later, the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run will honour that landmark occasion when participants once again travel in front of Buckingham Palace and head down The Mall en route to Parliament Square, Westminster Bridge and onwards to the Sussex coast.
“The anniversary not only provides us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate The Ladies’ Automobile Club but also to acclaim the major – yet too often under-acknowledged – roles women have performed in both motoring and motorsport ever since,” confirmed Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club.
As to the posterity of The Ladies’ Automobile Club, once women were admitted to more motor clubs it was eventually absorbed into the Royal Automobile Club during the 1920s. It is that important achievement which will be lauded on this year’s very special edition of the world’s longest running motoring event.

ST JAMES’S MOTORING SPECTACLE 2024
A new Motoring Extravaganza by the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall Saturday 2nd November 2024
Building on the successes of the Regent Street Motor Show and St James’s International Concours, the Royal Automobile Club is proud to announce the St James’s Motoring Spectacle.
Like its predecessors, this exciting new free-to-attend event will take place on the eve of the world-famous RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, during the Club’s own London Motor Week activities.
It will now, however, have a prominent new home on the capital’s prestigious Pall Mall, in the heart of St James’s, which will be closed to through traffic for the day thanks to support from Westminster City Council.
Like no other car-themed showcase in the UK, the unique and innovative Motoring Spectacle will celebrate motoring past, present and future, with significant focus on both educational activities and how today’s carmakers are embracing sustainability.
Visitors will be treated to five dedicated zones on Pall Mall:
The First Zone will feature the much-loved St James’s Concours featuring around 70 of the pre-1905 pioneers participating in the following day’s Veteran Car Run.
The Second Zone will host a collection of significant cars from RM Sotheby’s blue-riband auction taking place on the same day, and which itself boasts a brand-new venue in the Peninsula London hotel on Hyde Park Corner.
Zone Three will be holding an educational display charting the history of the car with a focus on alternative technologies and sustainability, with thought-provoking content as well as interactive advice on skills initiatives and careers within the industry.
Zone Four will be a heritage display presenting a timeline on how motoring has developed from the end of the horse-drawn carriage era, through internal combustion engines, and on to the latest generation of modern electric power. Sustainable fuels, such as those already ably demonstrated by the Club’s own veteran cars
on last year’s London to Brighton, will be showcased. This heritage section will also celebrate major motoring milestones including 125 years of both Renault and Fiat plus 50 years of Volkswagen’s game-changing Golf family car.
The final zone will put the focus on modern design, providing the public with a rare opportunity to see some of the most spectacular super- and hyper cars. The emphasis, though, will be on how today’s manufacturers are embracing cutting-edge technology to meet – and exceed – sustainability mandates.
Maximising its pole position outside the Royal Automobile Club’s historic clubhouse on Pall Mall, the St James’s Motoring Spectacle will also engage with local retailers and businesses. As an example, the Iconic Images Gallery on Waterloo Place will host a world-class exhibition of motoring and motorsport-themed art from leading artists in the immediate run-up to the Veteran Car Run.
“We are delighted to announce the St James’s Motoring Spectacle – a very special, free-of-charge, educational and entertaining experience set right in the heart of London,” confirmed Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club.
“The Royal Automobile Club has always been at the forefront of promoting excellence and innovation within motoring. This wonderful new show will not only celebrate the freedoms motorised transport has provided but also forecast the car’s future role within a fast-changing world. We must thank Westminster Council for sharing our vision and helping us turn these plans into a must-see reality.”
The creation of an inclusive event celebrating the motor car, its cultural impact, and the important part it will continue to perform in the years ahead will also further promote the special theme of the 2024 London to Brighton. This November’s Veteran Car Run is honouring the 120th anniversary of the Ladies’ Automobile Club, which staged its first ever event at The Athenaeum Club on Waterloo Place and the Carlton House Terrace in 1904.

Hayward Gallery at Southbank Centre
HAEGUE YANG: LEAP YEAR
9
October 2024 — 5 January 2025
The Hayward Gallery presents the first major UK survey of the internationally celebrated artist, Haegue Yang.
Considered to be one of the leading artistic voices of her generation, Yang’s work is both spellbinding and boundary-pushing, probing into contemporary ideas of cross-cultural pollination, modernism and folk traditions, and personal and political histories.
Leap Year illuminates Yang’s multifaceted, interdisciplinary and highly inventive practice from the early 2000s to today, echoing the Hayward Gallery’s mission, to champion artists from across the world whose ideas challenge and spark new ways of thinking.
Arranged into five thematic zones, the exhibition will include three major new commissions and several new productions to present a visual and sensory experience through installation, sculpture, collage, text, video, wallpaper and sound. Yang’s artwork often transforms everyday domestic items and industrial objects, from drying racks and light bulbs to nylon pom-poms and handknitted yarn, into distinctive sculptures and multimedia installations that engage the senses.
Leap Year will feature key works from some of her most notable series including Light Sculptures, Sonic Sculptures, The Intermediates, Dress Vehicles, Mesmerizing Mesh and the Venetian blind installations.
Haegue’s recent solo exhibitions have taken place at institutions including: Helsinki Art Museum (2024); National Gallery of Australia, Canberra (2023), S.M.A.K., Ghent (2023); Pinacoteca
de São Paulo (2023); SMK – National Gallery of Denmark, Copenhagen (2022), Tate St Ives (2020); MoMA – The Museum of Modern Art, New York (2019); and Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2018).
Haegue Yang says: “My artworks often have very long names with seemingly odd combinations of words that are hard even for me to memorise, whereas my exhibition titles are much simpler. This naming tradition mirrors my relationship to art-making versus exhibition-making. Art making is like weaving together a piece of complex, and therefore impossible to unweave, fabric, while exhibition making is like tailoring it into something comfortable to wear. Both acts are eager attempts towards perfection. For this survey show, I deliberately unfocused my eyes to obtain the hidden 3D vision of my own practice, which is a rare, perfect occurrence like a leap year.”

“A school with a true family feel”*
*Muddy Stilettos review
Want to know more?
The King’s School Canterbury
“This is a place of joy and scholarly wonder. Of curious minds and endless discovery. Where the sound of music fills cloistered walkways and beautiful spaces inspire. This is a place beyond compare’.
One cannot help but be captivated by the exquisite setting of The King’s School, securely nestled in the historic Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral. The School’s connection to the Cathedral gives it a unique spiritual core, providing opportunities for pupils and staff to come together as one, whilst encouraging quiet reflection and appreciation of the non-material.
Against this historic backdrop, King’s is truly a school moving forward, seeking to develop the ‘whole person’ and instilling in its pupils strong values, a global outlook and an empathetic and openminded approach. Complementing the tranquility provided within its ancient walls, the School sits at the heart of a bustling medieval city through which pupils move to lessons and activities, giving it a university feel and a real connection to the world outside.
King’s prepares its pupils for the world beyond school through a parallel focus on academic and co-curricular excellence. Indeed, while the School offers one of the broadest curriculums of any school, including over 30 subjects at A-level, it also offers a brilliant
enrichment and extension programme. Creativity and confidence are nurtured and the co-curricular offering is enormous. No matter their interests, pupils are supported to develop their passions, and there are activities going on in every corner of the site almost every minute of the day, further demonstrated during the spectacular King’s Week Festival, which has been held every year since 1952. King’s Week occupies the final week of the Summer Term with over 200 events that showcase the pupils’ creativity and talent in music, art, dance and drama.
Co-education at King’s has been firmly established over several decades, and pupils, both boarders and day (ages 13 – 18), are drawn from across the UK and around the world. Junior King’s, the junior branch of King’s (for ages 3-13), set in a stunning eightyacre countryside location just outside Canterbury, has full boarding from Year 5 upwards and offers natural entry points at Nursery, Reception, and Years 3, 5, & 7.
Open Days, held each term, are an ideal occasion to explore the opportunities on offer at King’s and Junior King’s for your son or daughter. Come and see for yourself why The King’s School Canterbury really is a community like no other. kings-school.co.uk/visit
SKILLS FOR LIFE
“I’m so grateful to be part of a school that offers such a rich and varied experience.” (Year 9 Pupil)
Ballard is a school where pupils can grow, laugh and learn, striving to be the best that they can be.
As Martin Luther King Jr once said, “true education seeks to cultivate both intellect and character”, and that’s exactly what Ballard does. Grounded in strong values, pupils discover a school life full of opportunity and aspiration. Pupils not only look to achieve academically but also personally. Whilst exceptional GCSE results demonstrate an aspect of success, they tell only part of the story. Pupils leave Ballard equipped not just with knowledge, but with the confidence and character to make a difference.
Individuality at Ballard is celebrated and nurtured. From an early age, pupils learn to approach problems with creativity and critical thinking. Whether it’s how to construct the highest straw tower or interpreting the Odyssey, pupils are encouraged to think and try with a huge variety of opportunities opening many pathways.
In the Arts, pupils are encouraged to express their unique perspectives through various mediums from Mozart to Matisse, Steinbeck to Stormzy; this provides creative freedom and fosters self-confidence and innovation. Ballard’s ‘Sports for All’ ethos encourages teamwork, discipline and perseverance. Its flexible programme fosters resilience, tenacity, leadership and collaboration,
reinforcing a sense of community - the Ballard Family, ensuring that no child is left behind.
Recognising the importance of languages, French is taught from Year 1 and Spanish now from Year 4. UCL research highlights that learning another language aids cognitive control and memory as well as improving social skills and cultural awareness in children. This in turn leads to better interpersonal relationships and increased
empathy, essential life skills. Oh, and Ballard is also the current Languagenut Primary national champions too!
Research shows that “the wellbeing of children and young people is a crucial factor in their ability to achieve and thrive” (Public Health England, 2021). At Ballard, staff place the pupil at the heart of all they do. PHSE is integral to the curriculum and this agile programme allows Ballard to ensure pupils are prepared for young adulthood. They learn about the importance of mental health, healthy relationships, and responsible citizenship, as well as garnering key skills including communication and leadership. For instance, during Open Mornings, pupil tour guides showcase their school to prospective parents, developing public speaking skills, confidence, and the ability to articulate their opinions. It also fosters a sense of responsibility and pride in their school community.
PUPIL TESTIMONIALS
“I recommend Ballard to anyone who is looking for a new school because it’s one of a kind and can bring out interests you never knew you had.” (Year 9)
“The experiences I’ve gained at this school have truly shaped who I am as a person, and I just know that if I had stayed at my previous school, I’d have absolutely no idea where my passions lied and what I wanted to pursue in the future.” (Year 11)
“I recently started DofE Bronze, which is a fantastic way to build independence, learn new skills, and gain a sense of freedom.” (Year 9)
Character skills are increasingly recognised as vital to employability with great value being placed on those who demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and the ability to work well with others. These attributes are developed throughout Ballard, preparing pupils for their future and encouraging them to contribute to society. Some examples of more specific skill enhancement include teambuilding for our prefects (Y8 & Y11) as well as the whole of Y7; Dragons Den (Y8), Ballard on Board (Y9); and mock interviews (Y11) Much of it though remains intangible, 1-to-1 conversations, expectations, eye contact and handshakes.
A Ballard education goes beyond academics, nurturing future leaders, innovative thinkers, and empathetic individuals, all equipped with essential character skills to make a significant impact on the world.
ballardschool.co.uk
“There is only one word to describe Ballard and that is ‘extraordinary’!” (Year 9)
PARENT TESTIMONIALS
“Both my children are thriving here. It’s a place where young minds are respected, encouraged and nurtured.” (Year 8)
“My son and daughter left Ballard with such confidence and after 15 or more years, they are still sailing through life finding nothing a problem!” (Former Ballard Parent)
“He’s developed his public speaking skills and his ability to interact confidently.” (Year 11)
“This school places a strong emphasis on the whole child, ensuring the balance between academic achievement and co-curricular interests. This well-rounded education ensures pupils are ready for life beyond the classroom.” (Year 8 &9)
ROSEMEAD PREPARATORY SCHOOL LOOKS TO THE FUTURE
FOLLOWING TRIUMPHANT YEAR
Head Graeme McCafferty reflects as the school year starts again
Rosemead Receives Outstanding Inspection Report
Rosemead Preparatory School was recently recognised with an outstanding inspection report, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire school community. The report highlighted the school’s commitment to academic excellence, its well-rounded approach to education, and the nurturing environment it fosters for its children. The inspection highlighted our impressive innovative curriculum, which balances a strong foundation in traditional subjects with creative and forward-thinking programs. We were delighted to receive one of the first Significant Strength for an Independent Prep school and in our opinion, the best strength you could possibly be recognised for, a highly customised approach to every pupils’ academic progress. Ensure rapid progress for all our of our children.
Reflections on Over a Year in the Role
We have changed a lot at Rosemead over the 18 months I have been in charge. We have a new Head of Finance, a new Head of Ops, a new Deputy Head Academic too. But our ethos and values have not changed, we are the same school we have been for the past 82 years, just with a very clear direction of what is to come next. Some of the highlights have been our rebranded Values system that now underpins everything we do at Rosemead. This was created by speaking with staff, children and parents about what really makes Rosemead special and building it up in their image. This year we are doing the same with our House provision
and pastoral care. Houses in the school named after people that the children have no real connection to and no understanding of how they fit into a modern life or curriculum had to be challenged. Now we have Houses designed by the community of the school that really match what we are trying to achieve. Come and visit us to see more about both of these highlights of the school. Change is never easy but with a growing pupil roll in a difficult climate really emphasising what we do at Rosemead has worked very well. One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the importance of balancing tradition with innovation. Rosemead has a rich history, and preserving its core values while introducing new initiatives, such as our approach to AI and future-ready skills, has been a rewarding challenge.
Joining St Dunstan’s Education Group: Benefits for the Community
Rosemead’s integration into the St Dunstan’s Education Group has been a significant development, one that brings a range of benefits to our community. By being part of a broader educational network, we gain access to enhanced resources, shared expertise, and collaboration opportunities that enrich our students’ experiences. Our partnership with St Dunstan’s allows for a more comprehensive approach to education, where we can provide a smoother transition for children moving into secondary education, and we’re able to offer new programs and initiatives that benefit not just our children but the entire Rosemead family. It’s about strengthening our foundation while opening doors to exciting new possibilities for the future. The main benefit for Rosemead families is that now we are a through school up to 18 for those that reach the academic threshold to move to St Dunstan’s in Year 7 while still ensuring we send our children to many other schools in the area. We really are the school that finds the right school for your child and gets them there.
society. We’ve integrated AI into the curriculum in a way that complements our traditional subjects while fostering creativity and critical thinking. Our children are not just learning how AI works, but they’re also encouraged to think about its ethical implications and real-world applications in our Philosophy lessons. This focus on future-ready skills ensures that Rosemead children will be wellprepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Our AI use is well established at the school now with the focus now turning to how we can use AI to help reduce teachers workload and ensure they have more time to spend on working with the children and ensuring our lessons are world class. Alongside our established approaches in the classroom we have introduced Robotics teaching and eSports club to an already forward thinking curriculum offering.
Hopes for the Future of Rosemead
Praise for Rosemead’s Approach to AI and the Future
Rosemead has garnered attention and praise for its forward-thinking approach to AI and preparing children for the future. In today’s rapidly evolving world, it’s crucial to equip our children with the skills they need to navigate and thrive in a technologically advanced
Looking ahead, my hopes for Rosemead are centred around continuing to build on our successes while remaining adaptable in an ever-changing educational landscape. We will build on an already incredibly successful past year where we have been nominated for various awards including, Innovation and Excellence in SEND, two Awards for our work on Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and our most recent nomination of Junior School of the Years. I want Rosemead to remain a place where children, parents and staff feel inspired, supported, and empowered to pursue their passions. As we move forward, I aim to deepen our commitment to innovation—whether through technology, our curriculum, or the development of life skills—while staying true to the core values that have made Rosemead such a special place. Above all, I hope that Rosemead continues to be a joyful, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to flourish academically, creatively, and personally. ST DUNSTAN’S EDUCATION GROUP AND THE VILLA ANNOUNCE
EXCITING NEW PARTNERSHIP
St Dunstan’s Education Group and The Villa are delighted to announce a new partnership bringing their schools closer together.
The new partnership, which begins this month, will allow parents at The Villa the opportunity to transition to one or more of St Dunstan’s schools at 7+ following their time in the Pre-Prep.
Speaking about the news, Head of St Dunstan’s, Nick Hewlett explained: ‘I am delighted to be bringing our schools closer together. The schools within the St Dunstan’s group and the Villa have shared values and a long history together, with many of the pupils going on to join one of our schools in Year 3.
‘Parents will now be able to benefit from the new partnership without the worry of a stressful 7+ experience.’
Louise Collingwood-Ellis, Head of The Villa, added: ‘The partnership will enable our schools to work closer with one another, sharing best educational practice and drawing on one another’s expertise. I look forward to working close with the teams across the St Dunstan’s group.’
The news comes at an exciting time for the St Dunstan’s
Education Group, which includes St Dunstan’s Junior School, St Dunstan’s Senior School and Rosemead Preparatory School. In the last year, the group has received three significant strengths from the Independent Schools Inspectorate following inspection visits. Significant strengths recognise any aspect of a school that is truly exceptional.
The Villa, which is known as the ‘village school in the heart of London’ was also rated outstanding for early years’ provision, personal development and behaviour and attitudes in their most recent Ofsted inspection.
Both the St Dunstan’s Education Group and The Villa School and Nursery will continue to operate as entirely independent entities, and there will be no change to day to day running of the schools, or the transition processes for current pupils within the St Dunstan’s group.
Find out more about St Dunstan’s Junior School, Rosemead Preparatory School or The Villa at one of their upcoming open mornings. Book at stdunstans.org.uk, rosemeadprep.org.uk or thevillaschoolandnursery.co.uk
PRIVATELY
EDUCATED PEOPLE DOMINATE TOP BRITISH JOBS
The study, by the Sutton Trust education charity, shows that virtually every key profession is dominated by privately educated pupils grabbing the senior management/director positions
Their grip on power is most noticeable in the judiciary, where 74 per cent of leading judges (those in the High Court or Court of Appeal) were privately educated.
Figures in the report also show that one in three MPs (32 per cent) was privately educated – as were half the members of the Conservative Cabinet. Even in Jeremy Corbyn’s Shadow Cabinet, 13 per cent of members went to private school. Nationally, the figure is just 7 per cent. The report, carried out by Dr Philip
“The higher echelons of journalism are also dominated by the private sector, with 51 per cent educated in independent schools”
Kirby, goes on to show that 71 per cent of senior Army officers – two-star generals and above – went to private schools. Only 12 per cent attended comprehensives.
In medicine, 61 per cent of doctors were privately educated while 22 per cent went to selective state grammar schools and just 16 per cent to comprehensives. The list goes on – 48 per cent of civil servants were educated privately, 29 per cent went to selective grammar schools and 23 per cent to comprehensives.
The higher echelons of journalism are also dominated by the private sector, with 51 per cent educated in independent schools. And of those chief executives of FTSE 100 companies who were educated in the UK, 34 per cent were privately educated.
Nearly half the top actors – 42 per cent of Bafta Award winners – went to private schools, fuelling criticism that the profession is becoming more elitist.
“Our research shows that your chances of reaching the top in so many areas of British life are so much better if you went to an independent school,” said Sir Peter Lampl, the chairman of the Sutton Trust. “As well as academic achievement, an independent education tends to develop the essential skills such as confidence, articulacy and teamwork, which are vital to career success.

Hairstylist to Elle Macpherson and Kate Moss, Jon Hala, says the first mistake people make when washing their hair is using the incorrect shampoo. “Shampoos are very prescriptive now and easy to determine what you require for what purpose.” If you have fine and limp hair, avoid overly nourishing shampoos that will leave your hair more silky and lifeless.
“Common mistakes are using overly hot water, which activates and excites the sebaceous glands,” says Hala. “This creates sebum, which makes your hair look greasy.”
Another mistake people often make is not rinsing thoroughly. TONI&GUY’s Cos Sakkas advises that you rinse your shampoo at least twice. On top of this, “Only apply conditioner to the ends of your hair, avoid the roots, as you have your natural sebum to condition those.”
Post-shower is where the mistakes proliferate. Apparently using a so-called ‘towel-turban’ is one of the worst things you can do. “When we pile our hair up onto the top of our heads, the cuticle is

CARE
the wrong way and can easily be damaged, leading to tangling and making it more difficult to manage wet hair,” says one of the UK’s leading trichologists, Eva Proudman.
“Always think of the backwash at the hairdressers, the way they wash your hair, how it falls – not by tipping your head upside down or piling the hair onto the top of the head.”
How often should you be washing your hair?
How often you wash your hair entirely depends on your hair type and scalp, but the general consensus appears to be two to three times a week. However, “the scalp has 180,000 oil glands as well as sweat glands so it quickly attracts dirt, dead skin cells and debris,” says Proudman. “This can all lead to an imbalance if left to build up –which in turn affects the hair quality and growth.”
“For curly hair types, I would never recommend washing daily: every other day, or every two to three days is fine,” says founder and CEO of Bouclème, Michele Scott-Lynch.
“I personally recommend not washing too often to avoid stripping the hair,” says hairdresser to Victoria Beckham, Kieran Tudor, “But I suggest a once-a-week scalp treatment with a detoxifying yet nourishing cleanser that will help to maintain a healthy scalp and balance moisture levels, while also energising hair follicles.”
How to hack the technique
More often than not, we wash our hair in a rush, leaving tangles

and product, meaning our hair is more susceptible to breakage. “Take the time to massage shampoo into the roots of your hair. If your scalp feels greasy, or you have product build up, double shampoo for a thorough scalp cleanse,” says Scott-Lynch. “If you have time, use a scalp massager tool that stimulates the hair follicles.” This helps promote hair growth by exfoliating the scalp.
“When you follow up with a conditioner, take your time to detangle before you rinse out,” advises Scott-Lynch, “For curly hair types, I recommend leaving some or all your conditioner in the lengths of the hair to transform dry frizzy hair into beautifully defined curls.”
Ingredients to AVOID in your haircare
The current line of thought is that natural haircare is best. This, in many ways, is true, however the demonisation of sulphates may not be entirely justified. “Not all sulphates are bad for our hair and scalp – the ‘right’ sulphates can be very effective cleansers,” says Proudman. “Types of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) sulphates that have a small molecule and can penetrate into the protein fibre of the hair and the epidermis, causing dryness and dehydration, should be avoided.
“However, MEA and TEA sulphates offer superb cleansing, with a bigger molecule that doesn’t penetrate or cause dehydration. In essence, cleansing is key to removing dirt debris and oil from the hair and scalp.”

The rules are different however if you colour your hair. Stéphane Ferreira, operations manager and senior stylist at Live True London, says, “We always recommend looking for colour-safe shampoos to keep your colour looking vibrant for as long as possible. Similarly, if you have curly or coiled hair, you might choose to avoid shampoos with parabens and silicones to help you maintain your optimum curl pattern.”

ALEXA CHUNG IS CREATIVE DIRECTOR FOR BARBOUR’S AW24
COLLECTION
Model and presenter Alexa Chung has taken on the role of creative director and designer for Barbour’s new collection, entitled ‘The Edit, by Alexa Chung’.
It marks Chung’s fifth collaboration with the brand – and it’s being billed as her ‘most personal’ Barbour collection yet.
The style icon, 40, has long been an endorser of the brand’s iconic British wax jackets, and for this autumn/winter she has collaborated closely with Barbour’s in-house team to create a fresh take on the vintage styles.
The collection includes quilted and wax jackets, cardigans, shirts and, a new addition for Chung, wellington boots. Each item is named after her close friends and family, making it her most personal collaboration to date.
Chung first rose to fame as a style ‘it girl’ of the early Noughties, hailed for her inimitable style and witty personality, with Vogue’s Anna Wintour calling her “a phenomenon”.
Her fashion is known for being quintessentially British, with an eclectic spin on whatever looks she puts together – and her influence is undeniable. When Chung wore a Barbour jacket to Glastonbury Festival, she sparked a new wave of demand for the classic style.
For this collection, Chung reflected on her lifelong connection with Barbour, noting: “I am so pleased to be exploring a new chapter with Barbour. Designing this collection was a total joy.
“My intention was to create something immediate that reflects my wardrobe, interests and style in this moment, while staying true to the brand’s epic heritage.”
Born in rural Hampshire, Chung drew upon her childhood memories of horse rides through lush fields, as well as stomping through the mud at Glastonbury over the years.
As creative director of the collection, she promised to bring her long-standing relationship with Barbour into every piece. See the full collection in-store and online at Barbour.com.
Kate’s wedding dress designer
Sarah Burton announced as new Givenchy creative director
SThe British designer is taking the reins of the French fashion house. By Lara Owen
arah Burton has been announced as the new creative director of Givenchy, the LVMH-owned French fashion house.
The British designer is perhaps best known for creating the Princess of Wales’s wedding dress and Pippa Middleton’s maid of honour dress for the 2011 royal wedding.
Burton succeeds Matthew Williams, who stepped down from Givenchy as creative director in January after three years in the role, leaving the house’s studio team to lead design in the interim period.
“It is a great honor to be joining the beautiful house of Givenchy, it is a jewel,” Burton said in a statement. “I am so excited to be able to write the next chapter in the story of this iconic house and to bring to Givenchy my own vision, sensibility and beliefs.”
It’s something of a full circle moment, as Burton – who spent 26 at British fashion label Alexander McQueen –is following in the footsteps of designer Alexander ‘Lee’ McQueen, who designed for Givenchy from 1996 to 2001.
Burton joined Alexander McQueen in 1997 and quickly became head of womenswear in 2000. Following McQueen’s death in February 2010, Burton was announced the new creative director of the brand.
Her first collection shown in Paris received critical acclaim, and during her tenure she dressed celebrities like Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama, Cate Blanchett and Beyonce.
But her most notable fashion moment came in 2011, when she designed Kate’s wedding dress – an intricate ivory gown with lace applique floral detail. The skirt of the wedding dress was intended to represent an opening flower with its subtle pleating.
Burton also designed Kate’s maid of honour’s dress, worn by her sister, Pippa Middleton, which had capped sleeves and a scooped neckline.
Burton’s latest royal triumph was designing the Princess of Wales’ long white dress for the coronation in May 2023, accompanied by a tiny white caped coat for her daughter, Princess Charlotte. It was another unforgettable image immortalising Burton’s knack for crisp and modern formal design.
Kate has worn Burton’s designs on numerous public appearances, including a blue suit on a visit to Surrey prison days after the designer announced she would be stepping down from Alexander McQueen. The decision to wear the suit seemingly paid tribute to the Burton’s service to British fashion.
Burton’s collections at Alexander McQueen were praised for their expressions of femininity, hope and renewal explored through precise tailoring. Often inspired by the Victorian era and nature, her final shows explored theatrical experimentation alongside methodical patterning and embroidery.
She was named Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2011, and was awarded an OBE in 2012 for her services to the fashion industry.
The move is significant, as it makes Burton one of the few female designers to hold the creative director title at a major fashion house –with her peers including Stella McCartney and Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior.
She’s the second woman to take the top job at Givenchy, following in the footsteps of Clare Waight Keller – who held the role between 2017 and 2020, during which time she designed the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress.
How Burton will bring the techniques she’s become known for to the French fashion house will be revealed next year, as her debut for Givenchy will be for autumn/winter 2025 in March at Paris Fashion Week.

REDISCOVER LIFE WITH TMS: A Revolutionary Treatment for Mental Health
Mental health struggles can feel overwhelming, especially when traditional treatments like medication don’t provide the relief you need. For many, medications come with unwanted side effects such as fatigue, weight gain, and sexual dysfunction. If you’re seeking a new approach, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) offers a ground-breaking alternative.
TMS is a non-invasive, medication-free treatment that uses magnetic pulses to target specific areas of the brain, helping alleviate symptoms of depression, OCD, addiction, and other mental health conditions. Approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as safe and effective, TMS promotes neuroplasticity— helping your brain rebuild healthy connections.
“Historically, treatments for depression have always focused on making patients less depressed. With TMS, patients start to feel positive again. Their confidence increases, their motivation returns, and they begin to socialise again. You can almost literally see patients’ brains lighting up,” says Dr. Leigh Neal, MB BCh MRCGP DRCOG FRCPsych MD, Medical Director at Smart TMS.
Unlike traditional therapies, TMS doesn’t require chemicals, anaesthesia, or hospital stays. Patients can return to their daily activities immediately, with few side effects—usually mild headaches or fatigue.
Smart TMS, the UK and Ireland’s largest provider of TMS, has helped hundreds of patients regain control of their mental health.
With clinics in High Street Kensington, London and St Albans as well as across the UK and Ireland, we offer expert, compassionate care. 56% of our depression patients see significant symptom reduction, and nearly half achieve full remission.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, PTSD, or addiction, TMS could be the breakthrough treatment you’ve been waiting for.

CELESTIALLY INSPIRED INTERIORS
The nights are creeping in and darkness is all around – so it’s no wonder our gaze is being pulled upward to what’s going on overhead in the cosmos. The mystery and grace of stars, skies, lunar bodies and their hypnotic arcing movements have descended, bringing a sense of wonder and ethereal beauty into our lives and living spaces.
Fusing circles, spheres and organic forms with metallic finishes, black, white and the odd burst of fiery red, the trend is led by the glowing balls and free-floating formations of lighting, which mimics the soft ambience of distant stars or the phases of the moon. Larger pieces of furniture and accessories are getting in on the act too, with their patterns and colours, as well as extraterrestrial streamlined and spherical forms.
There are two schools of thought in the celestial interiors trend. Number one is go literal, a la Moooi’s Celestial Carpet by Edward van Vliet which represents the movement of the planets. Inspired by the origins of the universe and the possibility of life on other worlds, it depicts mathematical-style imagery of the universe in soft woven textile. The other take on the celestial trend is more abstract, generally using multiple globular shapes to hint at planetary-style movement and interaction in the way of Cattelan Italia’s Planeta lighting family by Studio Kronos – the blown glass shades of the 1960s-inspired table, ceiling, wall and floor lamps centre around steel frames, each creating a miniature revolving cosmic system.
Approach the trend from a slightly scientific angle, or on a more sculptural level, and either way celebrate the innovative aesthetic of the 1950s/60s space-race with a contemporary minimalism and sleekness. Modern celestial designs feel both organic and futuristic, the copious amount of rounded forms involved creating an atmosphere which is surprisingly calming and tranquil, as well as out of this world.

Long story short: 125 years of quality
Miele is the world’s leading manufacturer of premium kitchen appliances including cooking and steam-cooking, refrigeration, coffee machines and dishwashers. Founded 125 years ago, Miele has always been a family-owned company, holding quality in the highest regard and since designing and delivering their very first cream separator in 1899, Miele’s philosophy and conviction remain unchanged: Immer Besser (Forever Better).
Discover Miele’s appliances for yourself by visiting one of their Experience Centres in London at Oxford Circus, Brent Cross, Bluewater and Mayfair. We caught up with Cesar Fernandez, Lead Culinary Manager to learn more about Miele’s Experience Centres and their pre-purchase courses.
What do you love most about cooking with Miele?
I love that I can trust the ovens to always deliver brilliant consistent results. Miele ovens provide evenness of cooking with no need to turn your trays and cake tins halfway through. Plus, there’s no need to preheat the oven because of their fast heat up times.
I’m always amazed by the features of Miele ovens. Taste Control opens the oven door automatically right at the end of the cooking cycle, preventing your food from burning or overcooking, which is great if you’re not ready to serve it yet and will even keep it warm at the perfect temperature. Or Moisture Plus where I can create the best-looking sourdough loaf or the juiciest chicken by releasing bursts of steam throughout.
What tips do you have for people choosing appliances for a new kitchen?
I would definitely recommend visiting any of the Miele Experience Centres as we have live kitchens where people can come and try everything. We also run pre-purchase courses to help customers navigate our range and owners’ courses where we can teach Miele customers how to maximise the use of their cooking appliances.
What appliance in the kitchen can you not live without?
My favourite appliance by far is our combination steam oven. If I’m cooking at home, it is always my go-to appliance, especially when I’m only cooking enough food for 1 -2 people, and I don’t want to heat up the main oven. From gently steaming veg and poaching eggs to cooking the most incredible rice. It can also do combination cooking, where I can grill and steam together, making sure I get the crispiest skin on a sea bass whilst retaining all its moisture. Finally, Hydro Clean, which will self-clean the oven!
What exciting new things has Miele launched this year?
The new matt black range of handleless built in cooking appliances would make a beautiful addition to any high-end kitchen.
Who inspires you?
I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate over the years with some incredible chefs thanks to Miele. Tommy Banks created some of the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted - I will never forget his turbot, strawberries and cream combination - and Chantelle Nicholson whose root to tail approach, circular economy and regeneration always amazes me.
To celebrate Miele’s 125th Anniversary, they are offering the chance to win £125,000 when you purchase an eligible Miele appliance between 01/05/2024 and 30/04/2025. Terms & Conditions apply, for full details visit miele.co.uk
FIELD DAY STUDIO
Established in 2013 by Katherine Turner and Jessica Gibbons, Field Day is an interior architecture studio that creates thoughtful, soulful spaces with enduring appeal. With locations in London and Manchester, Field Day Studio has worked on diverse projects throughout the UK, ranging from Grade II listed townhouses, London family homes and rambling country conversions.
The studio collaborates with their clients to a deep level to produce designs for homes that are inspired and informed by the families who live there. Each project is a bespoke concept, ensuring that the end result is never prescriptive or contrived and each one tells its own unique story. Field Day creates timeless, mellow homes using colour palettes, materials and textures that are heavily influenced by nature. This brings depth and authenticity to the space that stands the test of time.
A crucial component of the Field Day design process is establishing what really makes their clients happy in life and in their home. Kat and Jess believe strongly that a thoughtfully designed interior can change their clients’ lives for the better, so understanding how this looks for them is key to their process. Their client’s narrative is deeply intertwined throughout the entire process, from the initial concept, through the space planning, bespoke joinery and furniture.
While the beauty of a space is of utmost importance, what is equally important is the maximisation of space. Field Day plans each layout meticulously, carving out extra space and capitalising on what is available to really improve the function of the house: perhaps creating a larder, a dressing room, or a library in the process. The result is warm, useful spaces that are a reflection of the way their clients want to live; spaces that look like they’ve always been there.

At Field Day, we believe your home is important. The interior should be thoughtful and uniquely personal: a story of you. As functional as it is expressive. As meaningful as it is beautiful.
