Sporting excellence in Windsor Great Park
Guards Polo Club is home to some of the world’s most famous competitions and players
Located equi-distant between Ascot Racecourse and Wentworth Golf Club is another centre of sporting excellence – Guards Polo Club. This fabulous polo venue hosts an array of world -class tournaments, including the breathtakingly fast-paced, Cartier Queen’s Cup competition. These games feature the sport’s top players and their amazing horses, highlighting polo at its finest. The Club’s location is equally impressive, situated in heart of Windsor Great Park, a stunning landscape which dates back more than 700 years.
Home to some of the finest polo fields in the world, it is not a surprise that Guards Polo Club hosts more than 35 tournaments each season, which runs from mid-April to mid-September.

This includes the competitive Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Windsor Cup, which always concludes with an elegant carriage driving display. Later in the year the Club combines horsepower of a different kind when the Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain bring their favourite cars to parade, alongside the polo, at the Talacrest Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup Final.
