- The Sculpture Park in Churt is a hidden gem. From the gates you may not expect the treasures that lie within. Upon entering the 10-acre site, nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, you are transported into a magical world of water gardens, woodlands and incredible sculptures.

A folly nestles above a waterfall, a giant tarantula towers over a winding path and varied works of art create a myriad of photo opportunities throughout the park. Three lakes complement the park’s diverse landscape and are home to an abundance of water creatures and unusual sculptural features.

An eclectic mix of sculptures from national and international artists are on display, giving the talented artists a platform to be recognised and appreciated. From up and coming local sculptors, to well-established globally recognised names, artists come from far and wide to display their work in this picturesque outdoor gallery. Visitors marvel at the sheer number, size and diversity of the works, finding something for every taste, style and budget.

The park is a family business, founded in 2001 by local artist and businessman Eddie Powell. At the time of purchase it was undeveloped land that Eddie and his team set about the mammoth task of landscaping. It now welcomes well over 30,000 visitors a year, visiting from all corners of the globe. It is open every day, all year round and is worth seeing at any time of year as the landscape evolves with the seasons.
