BAHIRDAR CITY HALL PROJECT The city hall project consists of four main buildings that are integrated with in one site. There organizational scheme and conceptual framework is represented in the conceptual modeling as shown hear. 01-Office building 02-Libray building 03-Musium with amphitheater building 04-Auditorium
01
PUBLIC LIBRARY
UNDER CRAFT | LIGHT PUNCH | LANDSCAPE | FACADE The public library is the response to the neighboring condition of the site. The mass element of the library , as a whole ,is raised-up to provide an access-through towards the office and the museum buildings. This in turn helps to appreciate the informal outdoor reading space that is express through a landscaping that would also be an access point towards the main floor area . The landscape is created by an artificial terrain 30 cm of each with different thread width .Additionally, it contain a sub-steps to make the access movement more concentrated and standard-wise by adding layers of steps with 15 cm riser .
GROUND FLOOR PLAN The ground floor consists of 16 terrain steps. At the end of each terrain landscapes, there are two stairs that are leading up to the main circular atrium.
FIRST FLOOR PLAN The three atrium in the middle leads to the main library floor area which include lobby area, Periodical rooms, Children area and mechanical rooms with store and unpacking area.
SECOND FLOOR PLAN In addition to the main reading area, the second floor consist administrative zone with active discussion and cafeteria space that extend towards the fourth floor plan.
The light underneath is supplied through a serious of three light wells or punches leading the light deep into the terrain. This light wells helps to meet the need of light underneath so that it will not become dark and dull. This functionality is further enhanced by using artificial light across the perimeter of the building as indicted below.
CIRCULATION AND CROSS SECTION The building gives the space underneath it for public exposure and a place of interaction. The idea of giving the space back to the public is an essential aspect of the library as a building type. In doing so, the building provides this kind of space for the public realm. Regarding circulation, the building have three main entrance ,the middle one serving as a main entrance.
INTERIOR SPACE - CAFETERIA AND LUNGE AREA
Both
horizontal and vertical circulations are systematically designed to accommodate mass in and out movement. There are 3 independent access point towards the building. The terrain also serves as an informal outdoor reading space which allowing the public to engage better.

O FFIC E BUILDING
LIGHT | TRANSPARENT | PUBLIC SPACE | FACADE The office building is a quest for transparency. Transparency,as i see it in architecture,is not just a mere use of glass. Neither it is vague openness. Transparency is to be visible and maintaining openness through enclosure. With this in mind, i Separate the mass from the facade and give it gap in between for people to walk by and feel the essence of office space ,i.e. it is a Stripped-off building were a facade act us a sun-filtering enclosure allowing light deep into the building. The public space is not an exterior physicality surrounding the building, rather it is an intrinsic part of the office building that morph itself round the perimeter of the volumetric office space.

MUSEUM
BUILDING
CURVILINEAR | LANDSCAPE | PUBLIC REALM | INDOOR-OUTDOOR The museum and amphitheater building encourages an engagement of a public realm into the space that morphs in to an urban exterior space. It is a way of a building engaging the people that area truly a public space. It is a geometric and spacial expression of any building that create an urban field of people surrounding it .This expression is based up on public interest and accommodating the mass. In the building, the design emerges out of the immediate context and give spatial recognition. Thus,in my design this characters could easily be identified.
EXTERIOR SCENE - AREAL VIEW OVERLOOKING AMPHITHEATER
AREAL VIEW The formal expression of the building mimics uniqueness and fluidity across the busy street and surrounding green parks and neighborhoods.

SEMI-BASEMENT FLOOR PLAN The semi-basement floor plan consists of main display gallery, sculpture court, Bathroom, shop, administration office, and an amphitheater area.
STRUCTURAL LAYOUT A roofing metal membrane is mounted on the top of structural framework ,which then transfers the load to steel columns.

CLASSROOM AND STUDIO COMPLEX
Architecture | volume and mass | extrusion | void
The building rests on an existing road. The accessibility of the main road, which is located at 7 meters away from the site, makes the road un-utilized and out of context. Emphatically, the road leads no –where, and overtime it become store area for construction materials. This Create a low profile of people engagement and miss-use intrusion by people surrounding it. I have applied the concept of Volumetric space and volumetric relationship thought compartmentalization by Provide walk-through to revitalize the road and give its full asset of functionality.

RESIDENCE BUILDING
Programmatic | Asymmetry | Landscape | radiating The total area given for the residence is 600 m2.The Programmatic requirement of each space is executed through environmental, spatial and access requirements. Circulation is attained by projecting the stair radially to proportion the amount of time and effort required to navigate trough each spaces. What is unique about this building is the way how the first story is attached to the outdoor space. The outdoor green are a could be easily accessed from the first floor. One could enjoy the garden directly from the child’s bed room, master bedroom or any other rooms from the first floor with out going to the first floor.
