ABOUT US Florida International University is a vibrant, student-centered public research university, with a Worlds Ahead commitment to learning, research, entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. Florida International University is the nation’s seventh largest university and one of Florida’s 11 state universities. Located in Miami, the university boasts 50,000 students, 1,100 full-time faculty and nearly 200,000 alumni. FIU’s College of Business, South Florida’s leading business school with unique expertise in international business, entrepreneurship and healthcare, is the largest of the university’s professional schools. Among the college’s nearly 50,000 alumni are some of South Florida’s most successful business leaders and entrepreneurs. Approximately 6,000 students are enrolled in its R. Kirk Landon Undergraduate School of Business. Each year more than 900 graduate students study in its Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Graduate School of Business. Another 1,000 participate annually in one or more of its executive education programs.

Specific benefits vary by the event and level of sponsorship. Additional tailored benefits may be mutually agreed upon, as requested. Sponsorship is tax-deductible based on the monetary value of the benefit.
The Hall of Fame was established in 1999 to recognize Florida International University College of Business alumni who achieved distinction as founders and builders of new business enterprises. In 2014 the College will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Hall of Fame Awards and have expanded the nomination categories to include successful alumni who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields and have made a positive impact in the community. The anniversary will also include a weekend full of activities for alumni and friends to enjoy. The awards demonstrate the ongoing commitment to celebrate the many accomplishments of our alumni. Event sponsorship ranges from $3,500 for table sponsors to $50,000 for presenting sponsors who will receive recognition throughout the entire weekend of activities.
EXECUTIVE-IN-RESIDENCE The Executive-in-Residence Program incorporates senior executives into the life of the College by hosting industry leaders as guest speakers and lecturers on campus. This dynamic speaker series regularly draws record crowds and continues to inform, inspire and engage our College community on contemporary business issues. The Executive-In-Residence series is one of the ways the College facilitates the opportunity for dialogue between global leaders in the business community and our alumni, students, faculty and staff. All alumni of the College of Business are invited to celebrate the holiday season with fellow Golden Panthers, faculty and staff. The reception is an opportunity to interact with the Dean and College of Business leadership in a festive holiday setting.
The Honors, named in honor of Alvah H. Chapman Jr., former chairman of Knight-Ridder media and one of South Florida’s most influential philanthropic and civic leaders, The Chapman Leadership Honors provides recognition to individuals who throughout their lifetimes have made significant contributions in business leadership and community building.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS LEGACY RECEPTION
Event sponsorship ranges from $1,000 Sapphire Sponsor to $30,000 Presenting Sponsor.
Legacy families are those who have made FIU and the College of Business part of their family tradition. The Legacy Reception recognizes and honors parents and family members who attended the University and their incoming high-school students who will be studying at the College of Business.

HOMECOMING Homecoming is one of the most anticipated events of the year. FIU alumni of all ages return to campus to reconnect with classmates and celebrate their Panther Pride. All class years are invited back and the current student body is also encouraged to take part in the festivities to instill a sense of tradition that they will continue long after graduation. ACCESS TO OVER 8,000 COLLEGE OF BUSINESS STUDENTS
Be a part of the student’s first experience at the FIU College of Business. Hosted to welcome College of Business students on their first week of school, to introduce the Dean, and create awareness of programs and resources available to them. Sponsorship amount is $7,000 per event; three per year.

STUDENT ROAD SHOWS The College’s national corporate tour program showcases our best and brightest students, offering them the opportunity to travel to key areas and tour some of the country’s largest organizations. Previous tours have taken place in Atlanta and New York City and have included Bank of America, BlackRock, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Standard & Poor’s. Your contribution would provide support for a group of six to eight students to participate in a national road show. Sponsorship amount is $15,000 per national tour.
GRAD SEND-OFF One of the most exciting days on campus is commencement day. The College’s Grad Send-Off promotes the College’s young alumni program and celebrates student accomplishments on graduation day for both graduates and undergraduates. You can target this audience of young alumni and gain a new customer base with your sponsorship. Sponsorship amount is $5,000 per event.
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MENTOR PROGRAM The Mentor Program is designed to enhance the classroom experience and build stronger ties between the College and the business community. The program is offered to fully admitted juniors and seniors who apply to participate and once admitted, are matched with industry professionals through a mentoring relationship. Mentors offer their business knowledge and guide the students to personal and professional development. Events for the Mentor Program include: • • •

Career Management Services The College’s Office of Career Management Services seeks to develop strategic partnerships with corporations and organizations who want to build relationships with business students and faculty to develop a pipeline of talent. Opportunities exist to sponsor networking events, provide resources for the career center, and support career development programs. Benefits of sponsorship include the opportunity to increase the on-campus profile and visibility of your organization among students, staff and faculty. Your support in this area will have an impact on the next generation of business professionals. Sponsorship ranges from $1,500 annually for Bronze Sponsor to $10,000 annually for Gold Sponsor.
