The FIU Alumni Association welcomes sponsorships from both local and national corporations as well as individuals. Sponsorship is a great opportunity to support student scholarships and program initiatives while earning positive marketing value for your organization, business, or brand. We offer sponsors ways to support our Association through both yearlong sponsorships as well as the ability to sponsor individual events. We accept both in-kind and monetary donations. The Florida International University Panthers compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Conference USA East Division. Led by Head Football Coach Butch Davis in 2018 FIU Panthers won the Bahamas Bowl. The Alumni Association will be hosting a tailgate party for every home game in 2019, which includes an air-conditioned room with music, food, drinks, giveaways and much more.

Trail of The Torch Homecoming 2019 Established in 2004, every fall the FIU Alumni Association hosts the university’s largest on-campus tradition. The Trail of the Torch was established and has become one of the university’s largest traditions with more and more students taking part in the annual event. This event brings together the FIU community in a spirit/ pep rally style event which will include the traditional lighting of the Torch of Knowledge, Service & Opportunity. Attendees enjoy food, festival like snacks and get tons of giveaways with live entertainment and the chance drawing in support of our Student Emergency Fund, to support students in crisis.
